Added 2021-03-21 19:49:03 +0000 UTCNew guy, I'm really proud of this design! The fantasy junk brainstorming was fun too. I think he will have no official junk design and any of these or similar/combination are fair game.
Initially I wasn't intending on rendering this as much as I did, but it ended up being good painting practice. I'm definitely still figuring out what painting methods work best for me and how to approach them, but I feel like I'm getting closer. I especially like the result of shading and highlighting markings individually as apposed to using a separate overlay layer or something similar.
