2023-03-12 21:01:30 +0000 UTCThe girl with the red hat Shannon became a trainee and idol for a few years after that. It didn't work out but she's now the voice of Jett in the game Valorant. This show is amazing, I'm surprised they haven't done an American remake yet. Each round is a vote to eliminate a fake. IU wasn't trying to fake anyone out, she's competing with the other contestants to make it to the end as the "real" IU. There have been a handful of times when the real singer gets eliminated, and it's kind of embarrassing for them. I'd look for subbed clips if not the whole episodes. Half the fun is the singer's interactions with their peers and friends in the audience, especially when they get it wrong. It's funny when a best friend argues so hard, and the host reveals that they actually voted to eliminate the actual singer. In between rounds the singer will talk about how number 4 or whoever was freaking them out because of how good they were, then they show footage of the singer stressing during the song. I remember once a singer tried to wave down a backstage staff and mouth "is that a real person, did you put on a CD, WTF!" I'd also recommend "I Can See Your Voice" a lot of kpop groups like Mamamoo (3 times) and Shinee have been on. They have to pick out real singers based on just looks/lip sync to do a duet with at the end. If a bad singer makes it to the end, they win a cash prize. For my final edit I'm just gonna throw out there- Idols on real TV shows is the most entertaining content for Kpop outside of the performances/music. They interact with other entertainment pros, like comedians and they're in good hands. The format of the show is usually tried and true with a capable witty host. They're entertaining with guests that I'm not familiar with, so when someone like Twice shows up, it's just that much better.
