Rogue Elements Update - At The Range

Chad stahelski mentioned you on the latest rogan episode. Cool that the director of one of the greatest action porn movies of all time listens to your take on his movies! Can’t wait to see what you can do with Ryan Drake.

Really appreciate this kind of behind the scenes look. The Ryan Drake novels were a blast to read and I look forward to the live action feature.

Somehow I’m thinking Will wishes he was there to shoot up the range, as well. Fun video, gents!

Not for nothing here, but one thing I always thought is that if you want a successful and memorable action sequence, your choices for firearms really matter. The sad thing is most movie folks just use what is easy to get their hands on from their default armorer. You get a mix of AR platforms, AKs, and a ton of indiscriminate gloc-likes. However, when you get someone who is familiar with the current trends, or has a historic knowledge you end up with some truly iconic scenes featuring equally iconic firearms. I think the youtube channel Ahoy (https://www.youtube.com/@XboxAhoy) is really THE guy for talking about this kinda thing or you can just wander through (https://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Main_Page) as a wack-job like me does. But whether you're talking about the mini-gun in Predator and T2, the .357 in Dirty Harry, the Barrett M82 in Robocop, or more modern examples like the AA-12 in The Expendables, the Benelli M4 in John Wick (this movie has been the driver for several firearms sky rocketing in demand). The choices matter, and you can show something new to folks at a reasonable production price. If you want to show off some cool car, or some fancy location, that is going to break the bank. But you can show them some weapons they have never seen for a reasonable price by comparison. Two weapons that are hot right now are the US militarys new adoptions the XM7 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XM7_rifle) and the XM250 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XM250) and both made by SIG and I believe both have a civilian counterpart that can be purchased. The coolest handgun I have seen in years is the Luago Alien (http://www.laugoarms.com/alien.html) A truly novel approach to slide design to allow for better optic mounting. Also it will prolly look pretty dope on film with serrated profiling. Anywho, super pumped to see what you guys end up doing. I am pulling for you as always!
