Should they call each other mom/son sometimes? Or leave it Norma/MC, using names?

People are making patches for it. I was just wondering, will it bother you if they will not just use only names after 10 years living under one roof with so much mutual love and support. It would sound silly. Calling each other bro/sis in domestic talk will break it even more than calling names instead of adoptive mom and son.
