The fifth, as should now be obvious, will deal with the incursion and its consequences. It will cover more characters/places/systems than you might expect, because this is the first big climax. If one book is an arc, this is the end of a multi-arc saga.
At one time I was worried that the fifth book would be shorter than average, but it actually looks like it will be longer - there are a lot of pieces to include and give their due. The people who want Kai and no one else may not be happy, but I think they mostly stopped reading. Those who like the power system and the broader world/characters should be happy, because the fifth arc is world-spanning.
As I've mentioned, we're on the razor's edge here. But I think there should still be normal chapters this week as the next arc begins.

I’m super looking forward to this! I hope when you say “first big climax” that you intend to continue writing Kai, ZZN and Omilaena’s story after book 5! But like someone else said, definitely take breaks if you need to!
