Imhakaru and Kanno, the DFSF
Added 2018-05-25 18:00:00 +0000 UTCImhakaru got a pet Fading Fox, named Kanno. He also gave it a Collar of True companionship (which I admittedly forgot to draw here), which casts a permanent Awaken on it. So it's a smart fox.
And then Imhakaru took the Leadership feat, which let me take him as a follower. I made Kanno a shifter class, since we lacked up close brawlers/tanks. But using Roll20, in order to have different tokens for each form, they had to be tied to different character sheets. So when I asked my dm for the sheets, they were labeled DFSF, DFSF II, and DFSF III. Short for Dumb F--- Shifter Fox.
He's been fun so far. Run into battle as a tiny fox with an ac of 23 with no armor or magic items, and then suddenly become a Dire Tiger with an ac of 28. Pathfinder's rules on shapeshifting/polymorph are incredibly vague and a bit annoying, so he can't health tank... but he can armor tank at least.
