Work in Progress 2: Chassis M and F
Added 2018-09-18 20:32:43 +0000 UTCI got a new type of paper recently, specifically designed for markers, and decided to use it for this drawing instead of the cardstock I typically used for markers. And i found something out after I started coloring it.
I hate this paper. The marker doesn't absorb into it at all, so it leaves it all streaky and uneven. and blending doesn't like working either, being extremely inconsistent. All the grey body panels were done using the same two markers, Copic C5 and C7 (With only a few C3 thrown in for highlights, or Black for shadow), and yet they all look different. The streaking is especially bad on the orange.
I do think I'm going to be redrawing this onto my normal paper before continuing, so I'm uploading this here.
