It's been a year now since I started developing the Kibō project!
Thank you all for the support, really, without you the project would not be possible!
Yes, this Devlog is public because I am changing some things that might interest some of you who are currently following the project!
I have several announcements to make, so without further ado:
Tier Modification
First, I'd like to introduce some change to the "No Hope" tier:
Effective immediatly, I am renaming the "No Hope" tier: Ethereal Descendant
A new compensation is now in place in this tier (and of course, available for the "Decadent Family"): Sneak Peek
The Sneak Peek are exactly what you think. Actual footage of all the scenes coming in the next update. Right now in the Gifts you have access to exclusive artwork related to scenes I've already made, but this is halfway through the release, so there's still half of the new content that's completely dark. And while I don't really like spoilers, I thought it might be something you'd like to know for your kind participation.
Post Modification
The Devlog will now include a written glimps of information about the actual scene I'm working on. So that you can know how the next update will start. I will put this information at the end of each new Devlog and you'll be free to read it or not if you don't like spoilers.
The Gifts will now also include information about the newly created scene. Same principle, more information!
The Changelog will now include written information and an actual footage related to the Extra Scene. I really want to be more transparent about what I'm doing so that you can know what to expect when you become a member of the Decadent Family!
To summarize: you will have information about how the next update will start in the Devlog, then I will add some more information about the new scene in the gifts, and finally, you will have the full schematic in the new Sneak Peek. Only if you want to know, as always. And finally, you will all discover in the Changelog what I cooked for the Extra Scene!
I want to clarify that this is not additional work for me, because as you can see, I love writing! Speaking of which.
KSF V0.8.0
The next version of Kibō: Slow Fall will be V0.8.0. For this time, there will be no V0.7.5 which means, I'm going for a longer update. Don't fall into despair! Only once did your humble servant make a longer update, and came up with the Nightclub event. Which was pretty cool, wasn't it?
The explanation is quite simple: I need the story to progress, because we are at a critical point in the story, and I don't want to release an update with too few lewd events. I think that would be frustrating. But with a longer update, I can go for the perfect mix I need and the perfect scene you need! It's a win-win.
This is only the second time in a year of development that I've embarked on a longer version, so yes, it's quite rare. But when I need to, for the sake of the story, I'll always give you a heads up!
Here is the roadmap of the posts for V0.8.0:
Most likely next week I will publish a first round of Gifts
In two weeks, I'll publish the first Sneak Peek
After that I'll make another round so you know exactly where I'm at!
Rest assure that I will not exceed two months for a longer update. Never done it. Don't plan to start now.
Now the next part is the new last chapter of the Devlog! Read it or not, it's up to you!

With Christmas and New Year, I haven't been very active this past week, hope you can understand, but I still managed to finish to create... Someone... I bet you're all eager to see. And yes it took me a while.
Since the beginning of the game, you've seen little dark conversations between John and... A mysterious person. Well, part of the secret will be revealed in V0.8.0, right at the beginning of the release!
This new character will only be featured in these "out of time" moments for now. I can't put a name yet because I don't think my choice is final, the visuals mostly are. This is a taste of what's to come for the Kibō project! I hope you'll be excited about it. When I first started this project I wrote: "The Kibō project will hopefully be a series of several arcs", well thanks to you, I can now say: The Kibō Project will be a series of several arcs!
Feel free to debate who this character is in the comment!
I want to clarify that "Slow Fall" is not finished yet! I just need to start putting the pieces of the puzzle together for the sequel!
