2024-06-25 15:56:18 +0000 UTCFantastic analysis! I've always thought the symbolism of the beers on the balcony is such a clever way of revealing Kim's character through imagery. From feeling anxious & annoyed the beer would fall off the railing, to just going fuck it and throwing it off herself to let off steam really parallels her conflicted attitude towards the law and "following the rules", her irritation towards Jimmy for bending rules and playing with the law for his own gain, but then sometimes just throwing caution to the wind and choosing to embrace his scamming & rule-breaking methods herself.
