SQUID GAME Christmas
Added 2024-12-28 18:16:05 +0000 UTCHello and happy holidays! I hope everyone is well. Just a quick PSA because I'm uploading episode 1 of season 2 of Squid Game to early access now. I'm going to wait an hour and then make it live on YT. Apologies for this, I realise it's not great early access. I'm doing it for two reasons, one being that I want to capitalise on trying to grab traffic with it having just released, and two being that I'm going to drop the eps asap regardless of my usual schedule to get back to regular content faster.
Like I say, I appreciate that the 'early access' is a bit rubbish so I wanted to just address it and apologise. I don't like to do it, but it will just be in this instance. As I get into the upload cycle for the rest of the videos I'll be looking to make sure there's at least a day between EA and it going live.
Sorry as well to those who sub here for my other shows. I agreed with myself to cover season 2 of SG once I'd finished season 1 yearssss ago as season 1 was the original reason I ended up going into covering TV primarily over movies. As well as that, those season 1 videos are still some of the most popular on my channel and I felt it was worth it to try to tap into that again. I realise I just did Rings of Power too, which was a bit of a passion project at the time, and most of the way into that I realised it was a bad idea mostly because it kept my scheduled regular content on the back-burner for longer than I'd have liked, as well as knowing before-hand that the videos wouldn't do well. All this to say, I realise I'm covering yet ANOTHER show and this seems like a pattern. That isn't the intent.
I've been looking to put out a video to address the future and content etc, along with my schedule going forward once I finish The Good Place and Better Call Saul. Nothing to worry about, just thought it would be nice to keep people updated on plans going forward but there won't be any great changes or announcements or anything. It was meant to be an end of year thing but I just haven't got round to it yet. Anywaaaaay, sorry again for the content deviation. I'll be as quick as I can. Make sure to follow a watching guide when you do because episode numbers or even airing dates don’t always make sense chronologically or from a story telling perspective. Seasons 4 ( Angel 1), 5 ( A2) and 7 (A4) have quite a few crossover episodes, especially in season 4.

It’ll be even better once we get them back haha! Quick question: you probably already said it so sorry to make you repeat yourself if that is the case but are you gonna cover Angel too? If yes are you going to alternate with Buffy or watch alongside it?

2024-12-28 18:33:45 +0000 UTCI just had a quick check and there's been 3 between now and mid November, including on early access. I always (barring BCS because it has to be on Sunday) rotate my shows in order so that there's no favouritism. That can be slightly different for early access sometimes, but I've generally kept to the same sort of thing for early access as well, that being recording and uploading a Buffy, then TGP, then BCS. Or TGP, then Buffy, then BCS, for example. This got very disrupted during my Rings of Power uploads and so wasn't so much the case during that time. Going forward from when regular content starts up again, I'll be rotating the uploads again as I did before and after RoP, so they'll be as and when I get them done. The last two early access uploads of my regular shows were BCS and then Buffy, so it'll probably start with a new TGP.
