Mobile App Issue - Comic Pages
Added 2020-04-01 17:04:20 +0000 UTCSo I'm aware of an issue with the mobile app regarding the accessing of comic pages. The issue involves pressing on the tag "comics" then being redirected to the comics, but not being able to see all the available comics (usually can only see 1 comic)
Firstly, when accessing comics (on Patreon) from mobile, you should do the following:
1. Go to "Posts"
2. Scroll down until you see the NEWEST post regarding a new comic page
3. Press the "Comics" tag attached to the bottom of the post
4. Find the comic you want to view, then view it by pressing on the name of the post
5. At the bottom of the post, each page is attached individually. Press on a page to view it.
When doing this you may see the issue occur as i've just described and get stuck on step 4
SOLUTION: I'm not sure why this works, but it does. What you need to do is load a post from around the same time the comics were posted. This can be achieved by scrolling to the bottom of the "Anime Pin-ups" tag. This tag can be found on any recent pin-up post. Once you've done this return to the top of "Posts" and repeat the steps above
OTHER SOLUTIONS: You can also do either of the following to access the content without this issue ever occurring:
- Access content through Discord
- Use a PC
- Use the browser on your mobile device
I believe this issue occurs because there is too much time between each post in the "Comics" tag. For now, these appear to be the only solutions. I will tag this post with "Comics" so that people can continue to find these solutions. I will try to find a better solution to this problem soon. Sorry for the trouble, hope you enjoy the comics!
