Sorry to ask a proper question. What advice would you give to a softy southerner trying to build up the confidence to get out and wild camp. I have collected enough gear to go on any camp any weather but can’t see my anxiety letting me stay a night somewhere I shouldn’t be alone. Have a mild anxiety disorder and none of my friends see this as an enjoyable venture. I just can’t shift this longing to get into nature and can my busy life but also find the idea of being out on a “non legal camp” not something I could do without bailing. For balance… Also.. What would you do with 100 million lottery win. First initial blow outs, set up family, blah blah blah, big picture investing and day to day work a year after you have won it.
