Yeah, A League of Their Own is a must-see.
Another great film with a young Winona Ryder film is 'Lucas' which I don't think I've seen anybody react to.

We used to love playing this movie at Hollywood Video. Such a funny movie. It began my crush on Winona Ryder. Hard to believe a year later Tim Burton would be directing Michael Keaton in “Beetlejuice”. I don’t think there’s much profanity in this movie at all, but the one F-bomb Beetlejuice drops after he kicks the cactus. We used to laugh out loud every time we heard that.

Seconded...good film. My favourite is Long Kiss Goodnight, though. (And I have a soft spot for Transylvania 6-5000)

If you want to see a great Geena Davis film, check out A League of Their Own. About the start of the all Women’s Professional Baseball League that was started in the 40’s. Was started because a lot of Professional Baseball players was soldiers in WW2, and baseball wanted to continue to being around even though the players were gone so they created the Women’s professional baseball league to fill in. Based on a true story. Stars Geena Davis, Tom Hanks, Madonna, Rosie ODonnell, David Stratharin, and Gary Marshall. Great film. :)
