How did going off my antipsychotics too quickly go?

I was able to reduce my medications over a ten-year period. Each little reduction is a success but I would keep on each little reduction for a good 3-6 months before moving on to a lesser dose. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I admire you greatly.

I am so sorry you had such a rough week, but I want you to know that your insight regarding your negative experience with medication reduction has been especially helpful. You have so much maturity and insights in how you express yourself to others. So glad your doctor was able to speak with the other professionals and better understand completely your needs and goals. Perhaps hubby needs to better understand like the ones who reached out to you in a positive and supportive way. Lauren, your awesome, and you have such a bright future with so many people! I recently had a bad time coming off one of my medications. I’m fine now. Good that I’m not alone.
