But seriously you really explain well all you have experienced and although I have similar (not exact) reasons as well your way of explaining validates my reasoning and helps me greatly! So thanks. I especially like the reason that they give the hallucinations or in my case delusions power. I try to mitigate all that causes me to lose touch with reality 😎

Everyone has their own path. What works for one person may not work for someone else. There is a difference between people asking about hallucinations who do not know much about them, and a Hearing Voices Group, which I am part of in the Hearing Voices Network. In these groups, we restrict participation to those with lived experience of voices, visions, beliefs, etc. and talking about them can be supportive among friends who understand what we are going through because we have been there. Some people get support by talking about voices, visions, and beliefs in a supportive environment.
