Crossover Commissions
Added 2021-02-20 12:43:29 +0000 UTCI'm planning on commissioning a series of illustrations that I think you'll like. It will follow a template format that I borrowed from Gnome, an outstanding cartoon artist (who, at the time of this writing, is also a backer here -- heya you!).
The idea is to feature an original character from another comic artist out there and subject it to the whims of a faerie (in this case, Autumn). You, the readers, get to vote on what the curse will be (I'll be providing a list of 3-5 alternatives). The result will be available at the Faerie Trainee level (if it's not too spicy) or Faerie Mistress level (if it's X-rated).
This is what the template sketch will look like:
It'll work in several steps:
- The artist gives me the "before" illustration of his/her character
- You get to vote on which curse affects the character
- The artist gives me the "after" illustration
- You get to see the result; so do the artist's patrons & readers
I'm very excited about this because I think it's a great way to get readers of "compatible comics" to discover and enjoy Bloomin' Faeries!

That's probably purely coincidental. Wondollar drew it without prompting on my part, and I don't know how familiar he is with ST:TOS. We just wanted a generic portal to "explain" how the character got onto the page, not much else. 😃

2021-02-20 14:14:50 +0000 UTCEl Goonish Shive is a transformation comic, but he insists it's clean. (Ostensibly he's right, in reality his detractors say he's not fooling anyone.) He was doing pinups for a while, even edging towards rated R pinups, but has backed out of that. I do think getting him to do a pinup written by someone else would be interesting, as his great artistic sin appears to be complacency. I'd love to see a collaboration, but I'm not sure he'd be into linking to an R rated project. Naked Penny is a newish ENF / Exhibitionism / Mind Control comic that started on Patreon recently. Heavy urban fantasy, but it's anthropomorphic (furry) content. I suspect they'd be into a collaboration, but not 100% sure.
