I went to give blood yesterday. It's something I do once a month (even during the pandemic), figuring there's no safer way to save lives. As a bonus, there's a young and fairly attractive nurse there (blonde, early thirties, nice perky boobs) whom I like to arouse from a distance. I never do it when she's assigned to me to avoid arousing suspicions (see what I did there?), but I love to watch her puzzled expression when she feels a tingle between her thighs while attending another donor. Her discreet squirming is a nice bonus, too. I don't do it all the time either, just to make sure she doesn't connect these "incidents" to my presence.

Unfortunately, while I believe I was able to excite her a little, it was a far cry from what I've been able to do before. I could see her aura light up a bit, but nowhere near what it was in the past. I guess my connection to Minx is fading, and so are my abilities. I don't mind that so much; I'm more worried about where both faeries went.

When I got home, I checked my mailbox. Someone had slipped a package in there that wasn't there Friday, and the fact there was no postage on it confirmed it wasn't delivered by a postal worker. I opened the brown envelope, which contained two things: a note and a small leather-bound book with handwritten symbols I didn't recognize.

The note said this (in French):

"You have been discovered by a member of the Coterie, and they have captured your faeries. Your link to them is probably fading quickly and you're running out of time. So are they. I'm including instructions to a locator spell to find them. Pray that you can figure it out in time to save their lives."
