Added 2022-02-21 10:57:33 +0000 UTCIf you're a long-time reader, you'll notice that this time, Little Attitude is present right off the bad in the timeline with Heather, something that wasn't the case in the past. As I developed the character in the original comic, I found that she was really useful for exposition, but having two separate timelines was something that made the comic more complex. This time around, she's here along with everyone else. It'll make everything simpler and there's even some potential for her to interact with some of the other characters. Considering she's a bit inexperienced and naive, that should help with some comical storylines.
If you're old readers (from pre 2017), you may have read Jaycee's Quickies, a B&W series (illustrated by Wondollar) that featured a similar tandem: Attitude (the grown-up meanie who lives with me) and the now-defunct Minx (who was loyal to me, but a bit of a goof). I thought that dynamic worked well, so that's the idea I'm reusing here.
Obviously, you'll see that I rebooted Heather to the original meanie that she was, and then some. Unlike the ORIGINAL Heather, this one isn't simply going to be mean to people who run into her (though it may seem this way in the beginning). She's going to actively seek people to be mean to them. I figure, if I'm going to have a character who gets cursed by faeries, she really needs to deserve the punishment she's getting.
