Narrative Pinup/Archive Story - Taki's Demon

I'm doing a bit of a combo delivery this time, and it's something both unique and embarrassing. I fished out a story I wrote in the last millenium. In fact, it's the first erotica story I ever wrote. It was soon after the very first Soulcaliber game had come out on the original PlayStation (I feel very old, suddenly), and there was an image of Taki (with bouncing boobs) in the opening of the game that had me very, VERY excited. I thought I'd lost the story (and, in fact, I had), but I'd published it somewhere on the internet. When I found the pinup I was going to use, I decided to go looking for it. And since it's the internet, nothing is every completely lost, so I was able to find it.

I did some minimal editing, but not too much. I wanted it to remain close to the original version so you could see how different my style is today from what it was at the time.

You'll no doubt notice countless flaws. Like how embarrassingly often I use the word "embarrassing." Like how LONG it takes before there's any action. Like how I get lost in stuff that is pretty uninteresting and un-sexy. Like...everything!

I hope you still find it an interesting read.

I do remember that it took me WEEKS to finish writing that. I'd get...ahem...distracted all the time by the very ideas I was trying to write about. I'd last about ten minutes, get a little too excited about how I envisioned the NEXT scene, and *cough* *cough* you know how it goes...

So for the aspiring writers in the room, don't feel bad if you're not where you want to be. Keep writing, keep practicing, and you'll inevitably get better. I'm not sure I'm in any position to give advice to anyone, but maybe that's one takeaway you can trust? I don't know. I'm still working on becoming a decent writer, so I feel like an imposter giving advice.

At least there's a pretty picture to go along with it. Hope you enjoy it.

I think you are your worst critic here, but then again most artists are. :)

Slow burn is a very generous way of putting it. The urge to torch the whole thing was hard to resist. It's not that the general idea is bad, it's just that it takes so long to get there... But thank you for reading it! 😀

It's a slow burn, but actually a really good story! Thanks for sharing!
