Bloomin' Studio! - 01

The schedule said that Sunday, I was supposed to deliver a narrative pinup, but I've decided to go another way—in part because I was late in writing the story but also because let's face it, you didn't come here for the writing. What I really enjoy is writing comics, and I think it's sexier in comic form than prose. In the future, I'm going to make an effort to deliver more comics and less text (but there'll still be some).

Back in late March, I approached my buds Navarro & Cabrera (the great guys behind the Li Fang Fei comic) and asked if they'd be interested in helping me reboot Bloomin' Studio!, which old readers may recall from many many years ago. This one's going to be a bit different from the old one. It's not a 4-panel comic, it's a full story, and one that I hope is going to have as much depth as it's going to have sexy stuff. Yes, it features my namesake Jaycee, but in yet another alternate universe where (as in the previous incarnation of the comic) he writes for a show called Bloomin' Faeries! He's surrounded by a cast of actors who have nothing to do with the characters they portray and is going to get involved in their lives in ways that will hopefully entertain, arouse, and perhaps even touch you (in that special place).

It'll be a page a month (much like Li Fang Fei), but at some point I'm hoping to have more if all goes well.
