Faerie Magic - Trap-Gasm

It's THE spell you wish you had if you're a perverted wizard. You might be tempted to use it on yourself, but casting it on your empty plate for the serving wench to pick up at the end of your meal or on the plate armor of your snooty paladin companion can be just as much fun it not more.

To veteran DMs out there: is 24 hours too long for the duration of the spell? Maybe 8 is better? Or just 60 minutes? And 1d4 round once triggered, is that too much? Just one round would be enough? Whaddya say? I'm happy to adjust the spell based on your experience and wisdom.

To be honest, the Trap Duration is not an issue in my opinion. However, the spell could get interesting and troubling depending on what constitutes touching the object. Would it activate if touch with a glove, tongs, or magic? Could it be cast on a liquid within a container? Making a Flask of Climaxing which can be thrown at enemies like Holy Water but more fun. I could see a wizard casting their remaining spell slots on this spell on objects before a Long Rest then using Magic Hand to store them and then leave them at points or load them into a sling or arrow and use them as a projectile. Is there a limit to the number of traps you could have active? My target for the spell would be the Priest's Lecturn before Sunday Service.
