I did struggle a bit writing this script because it's a bit dark and I was looking for a way to explain it that had the right tone. Hope you like it.

This is only the first part of the explanation. When you think about it, if that was the only way to get magic power, it would disappear with the first generation of humans who got the post. There's more to it, but it will come later.

2025-01-20 11:15:05 +0000 UTCYes, that's very dark, but very good. I'm not sure how well it fits in with the generally light-hearted tone of BF, though. I'm rather struggling to think of the castle's own resident ineffectual wizard having been able to do that, on the grounds both of his seeming incompetence and his apparently benevolent nature.
