What's Upcoming? + monthly reminder
Added 2020-10-24 19:49:22 +0000 UTCHello dear Patrons!
Thanks for your support and being here with me! :)
Let's talk about what's upcoming for the end of October and the month of November! But first...
MONTHLY REMINDER
New month means new Patreon charge! No matter if you joined very recently, you'll be charged on the 1st of the month for the month of November. Take action by October 31 if you don't want that :)

On to the mod talk! :)
OCTOBER PLANS
For the rest of October: I will be working on one of the remaining things to add to WooHoo Wellness. The two uppermost tiers are currently voting on what that should be. (Edit: it will be teen pregnancy interactions / reactions)
For a reminder, the remaining plans for WooHoo Wellness are:
New 'Modules':
- Changes / additions to adoption system
- Teen pregnancy interactions / reactions (I am not enabling teen pregnancies, other mods do that, I'm just adding interactions and reactions)
- Cheating and Trust system additions
Additions to previous Modules:
- Paternity:
- More interactions w/ children relating to if they're biological or not
- Ways for potential fathers to autonomously ask to go on paternity tests
- Moodlets and interaction after reversing a sterilization (I realized I left that out!)).
- WTDs:
- Consequences of AIDS / HIV when getting sick
- Little additions to the Herpes disease
I will focus on one of these things (either one new module, or all the additions to previous modules) as voted by upper tiers, and will attempt to finish the chosen element by the end of the month. I have only 4-5 available days by then so it will be a CHALLENGE but I will do my best!
My original plans for WooHoo Wellness featured less depth and options to each module than I ended up doing (it also didn't feature at all the paternity testing, which is an idea that came later). While this has caused longer work times by a large amount, it is also what I prefer as far as mod results and I intend to stick to that.

NOVEMBER PLANS
Early November will have to be dedicated to some 'mod maintenance', meaning cleaning up some files, re-organizing some things, etc, so that when the Patch for Snowy Escape hits, I'll be in optimal conditions to update my mods. The Patch will accommodate the game for the new "Lifestyles and Sentiments" that the pack will bring. I am afraid that this addition will cause a lot of changes in game files and interactions and will require a lot of updating work. I want to be optimally ready in case it indeed goes that way.
The new 'Lifestyle and Sentiment' feature, while it may cause a lot of mods to break (my supposition, I may be wrong!), may also bring really cool opportunities to add to my mods. So, it may well be very worth it in the end!
After mod maintenance, which I anticipate to take a few days, I will be back to adding to WooHoo Wellness. Then the patch will hit and I will take the time mod updating will need. After that back again to WooHoo Wellness. Then I will go around all my mods and bring updates and new features throughout November. If I come up with a new release altogether, and have time, I will do that too of course! I'm expecting to release the little animal adoption mod quite soon, but I'd love to also add something newer in November. We'll see how things play out, if I have time and inspiration...
Enjoy the week-end and the end of the month!
Best,
Lumpinou

so strange I have yet to test it again but I will at some point.

2020-11-06 02:15:21 +0000 UTCIndeed it is very weird sometimes. I am loving your mods though they add so much to this game. I have them all keep up the good work.
Patricia
2020-11-06 02:14:53 +0000 UTCI was wrong. I'm still having the same problem even in houses, but I have noticed that it's fine if I move them into a second story house. It seems that I only encounter the problem if there is only one floor/story. Still don't know what the issue here is though.
Amanda
2020-11-04 09:03:42 +0000 UTCThe game is weird sometimes!
Lumpinou
2020-11-03 13:40:37 +0000 UTCI had the same issue and I do not live in apartment and I also do not have wicked whims or wonderful whims installed. It was strange but I just moved a sim out and I haven't encountered it again.
Patricia
2020-11-03 13:09:40 +0000 UTCThat makes a lot of sense. The apartments behave quite weirdly. Thanks for writing back!

2020-11-02 23:30:28 +0000 UTCOkay, I still don't understand what's causing the error, but I do know others recently have experienced it as well. It has something to do with the apartments in San Myshuno because once I moved my household to an actual house, the message no longer appeared and the baby was there. From what I could find, the others that have received this message were also in apartments and sometimes unfurnished ones so I think it's more of a glitch either caused by the game or possibly a mod.
Amanda
2020-11-02 23:29:37 +0000 UTCYes, Wonderful Whims was the last most recent mod I installed after this one I believe. Also, the open world mod I installed recently. I have several others in the game as well, but none that I've installed recently but those ones and haven't seen this message before until now. It's definitely possible it could be from another mod I have but I'm not sure. I'll let you know if I can find a solution or any other updates on this. Appreciate the help!
Amanda
2020-11-02 23:20:04 +0000 UTCPlease keep me updated about this as I would love to know more. Also by any chance, any other mods you added in recently? Do you have wonderful whims or such?
Lumpinou
2020-11-02 23:16:25 +0000 UTCNo one else in the house is pregnant. I've only been able to find one other post about it and it happened in the last 7 days on the post I had found so it could be a bug that needs to be fixed with EA. The post online said they found the baby in their household inventory but that wasn't the case with me. :( I'll keep researching and see if I can't figure this out. Thanks though. :)
Amanda
2020-11-02 23:15:27 +0000 UTCThat's very strange for sure. Are other Sims in the household pregnant so much so that the game thinks there's 8 Sims? Have you looked this up to see if EA bug reports pop up? This mod has been up for a while and I have never in my life heard of this issue
Lumpinou
2020-11-02 23:12:55 +0000 UTCNo, just 3 sims. I've been playing the game for a long time and have never seen this message either. So that's why I was curious. My sim just had her baby but it won't allow the baby to "move in" to the house because there is no room even though there is room.
Amanda
2020-11-02 23:10:27 +0000 UTCA message coming up when? Never heard of this. Are there 8 Sims in that household
Lumpinou
2020-11-02 23:07:11 +0000 UTCHi there. Quick question: I'm not sure if it's at all related to this mod, but I'm having an issue with a message coming up saying, "no room for baby, the house is too cluttered." There's plenty of room for a bassinet and yet I'm still getting this message. I've moved the family, gone out and back in to the game and still having this problem. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure how to fix it.
Amanda
2020-11-02 23:02:01 +0000 UTCMy mod has no pregnancy risk in its version with Wonderful whims. It cannot at all be responsible. Even in its other versions, it does not generate male pregnancy as it's risk system requires the 'can be impregnated' trait. This is a known issue with wonderful whims. Are you sure you have the latest version? Turbodriver updated his mod about this bug
Lumpinou
2020-11-01 21:29:05 +0000 UTCso i have both wonderful whims and the latest version of woohoo wellness, and i realized my male sims are getting pregnant as well.... is anyone else having this problem? Is it a setting in wonderful whims that i have to fix? also thank you for making such a great mod, and i love the amount of detail in it
Lindsey
2020-11-01 21:14:34 +0000 UTCI am happy to report that was the issue! I removed Wonderful Whims & did the download for users of teen pregnancy mods. Now I only get 1 result! I also double checked any mods that alter relationships & pregnancies and saw Wicked Whims just updated their version as of 10/30/20. So that might have been a factor as well.
KuroNekoMataXIII
2020-10-30 23:06:00 +0000 UTCThanks! I'm quite uncertain why this issue would pop up, this is my one idea
Lumpinou
2020-10-30 21:45:51 +0000 UTCI certainly can and will let you know!
KuroNekoMataXIII
2020-10-30 21:45:05 +0000 UTCHaving both wonderful whims and wicked whims could be why. One requires the extra file and the other doesn't. Using the one that doesn't with the extra file might cause issue. But since wicked is installed, it won't run without the extra file. Can you try with only wonderful installed? Or with another version of my mod and only wicked installed...
Lumpinou
2020-10-30 21:40:44 +0000 UTCI also discovered having this same issue as well. I downloaded the overhaul 1.2v for users of wonderful whims with the additional file _fixpaternityAndWW.package. The only other pregnancy/relationship mods I use are wicked/wonderful whims and LittleMsSam's ultrasound & simda dating mods. Edit: I also have MTS PolarBearSims Teen trimester mod.

2020-10-30 17:38:02 +0000 UTCJust became a patron and I am very happy to be able to support you in your great work! Thx very much <3

2020-10-30 17:37:05 +0000 UTCThat should definitely not be happening. I need more info. What version of the mod did you download, what files do you have installed, and what other pregnancy / relationship impacting mods do you have?
Lumpinou
2020-10-30 00:21:16 +0000 UTCmy paternity test keeps saying the sim is and is not the father how do I fix this?
Kayla Williams
2020-10-29 23:13:45 +0000 UTCSounds like something is not properly installed. Do you have wicked whims? What files did you download from this mod?
Lumpinou
2020-10-28 22:59:03 +0000 UTCHi Lumpinou! Thanks for your amazing work! Quick questions: 1. When does the option for the sims to question/test paternity? My sim is pregnant; engaged with multiple partners; I also disabled all the settings I need to from other mods; still, nothing shows up for questioning paternity. 2. When/where does the option for the psychic to appear? Thanks!
2020-10-28 22:57:36 +0000 UTCyay

2020-10-28 07:24:25 +0000 UTCI have to think about how that would work, but it's not out of the realm of possibility... Really with transmission right now, that's how it's set up for HIV / AIDS in the mod : it can only be transmitted when not found out about. Because then the mod says, they're taking meds and are fine. But yeah I am hoping to make that somewhat better. I wrote that back on the WTD page I think, that I'm not very satisfied with it. :)
Lumpinou
2020-10-25 19:00:28 +0000 UTCThank you so much for responding. I'm not sure if you've planned this already, but maybe have a one-time purchasable pill that gives the sim 24 sim hours to not pass the disease. This would kind of replicate those medicines out there that allow HIV patients to be undetectable and not pass to their partner. I'm so glad you added these to the game. I really hope the upcoming pack doesn't break your mod too bad. I already have automatic updates off just in case. 😊
Lisha
2020-10-25 18:54:49 +0000 UTCThey don't get anything in their inventory ; it would have been a pain to have to take them daily forever because whenever Sims are off lot at work etc inventory can't be accessed so basically player would have to constantly do it manually and I felt like it may become tedious. Any suggestions how to improve the system?
Lumpinou
2020-10-25 16:59:40 +0000 UTCHi Lumpinou! Thanks so much for all your mods. I tried to find where you may have covered this question, but I couldn't. Are sims with HIV supposed to get medication in their inventory, or do they just travel to the doctor to check their viral loads?
Lisha
2020-10-25 16:00:51 +0000 UTCHi Evangelina, yes there were additions planned for that one, one of them which I had started (ability to resuscitate ghosts) but then other mods got in the way. I will add some features back in psychic sims too, once I go back to my previous mods to polish them some / add things
Lumpinou
2020-10-25 14:18:16 +0000 UTCI don't really understand what you mean?

2020-10-25 11:41:07 +0000 UTCHello Lumpinou ;) First of all thank you so much for all your hard work to give us all these great mods. I hope that the new addon/patch won't stress to much. Let me pls. ask a question regarding your plans: Will you continue your "Psychic Mod"? I saw on MTS a lot of suggestions and you wrote that maybe a part of these suggestions will be added. I like it sooo much because it has so many great features. I wish you a good time, pls stay safe and healthy. Lovely regards from Austria

2020-10-25 11:07:36 +0000 UTCThis might be a lot to ask for but is it possible to have a standalone mod of paternity test?
2020-10-25 05:07:55 +0000 UTCHi, for now I don't, it's something I should look into! Thanks for the suggestion
Lumpinou
2020-10-25 02:27:02 +0000 UTCHi, Lumpinou, first I want to say I love your mods and the content. But I do have a question about the upcoming pledge for November. I'm going to renew it next month anyway. But I was wondering do you offer an option for yearly? Because I would pay for that. I just figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Well, take care and have a good day.
2020-10-25 02:24:29 +0000 UTCStill there, it's in the Actions menu though now, with the rest of the cheats and 'settings' for this mod. I thought having two menus was a bit confusing
Lumpinou
2020-10-24 21:59:15 +0000 UTCJust a question: did you removed the possibility of giving sims WTD using the testingcheatsenabled on chest? I tought it was very usefull

2020-10-24 20:43:27 +0000 UTCSo excited to see WooHoo Wellness grow. Already adds so much to the game. Also, I’m already so afraid of the patch too. Almost if my CC doors and windows are still down from the September patch. I hope they really don’t mess things up 😂 you mod creators already do so much work to make the game amazing.

2020-10-24 20:17:32 +0000 UTCAllow me to quote myself from this very post: "I will focus on one of these things (either one new module, or all the additions to previous modules) as voted by upper tiers, and will attempt to finish the chosen element by the end of the month. I have only 4-5 available days by then so it will be a CHALLENGE but I will do my best! Paternity tests are part of 'part 3' of the mod, and they are out. The rest is not out yet and I am aiming to have another piece / module out by the end of the month... Thanks for your support and your interest :)
