(OUTDATED) WooHoo Wellness & Pregnancy Overhaul v2.22

I've tried downloading this, but "pregnancy and family" won't pop up on my pie menu at all.. like I can't find the surrogacy option anywhere?

I would imagine the cousins in question aren't related to her as she isn't from the same parents? Which would then potentially make sense for the family relationship to not be 'seen' by the game. If it is as I imagine, it should be preventable.. Will see & adapt in next update if possible

Hi there, this mod is really good, I can't play without it, but I have come across one bug, and basically what happened is my sim had a child through a surrogate, however when her child aged up into a teen, she was allowed to have romantic relations with her cousins.

That's exactly what it was! I downloaded base Sims from the gallery to create that family and I didn't notice the "neither" option was checked on the YA Sims for the pregnancy stuff. It's fixed now, thank you so much for your help!

I'm just so puzzled by this... Especially if you see the option to manually change their preferences and then can't. Hmmm. It should try to assign preferences every time those Sims are loaded so every time you go to that household. The only thing that comes to mind so as to why it fails is if they don't have the 'can impregnate' or 'can be impregnated' traits from cas. Can you check what's what with that? You might need to use the cas.fulleditmode cheat

Okay I reloaded the game to check on my other families and it seems that it is isolated to one household (thank goodness)! The family I noticed the issue with is a recreation of the Summerdreams from Sims 2, so two young adults, a teenager, and a child plus two dogs. Very strange, any idea if it's possible to reset those specific Sims so the preferences show up? I already tried moving them out and back in again.

Yep, version 2.2! I just tried removing the mod, loading a household, saving, and replacing + clearing the cache, but I'm still having the same issue.

Definitely weird, especially since the script file is the exact same between both versions... I can't imagine that's an issue everyone is having or I would hope I'd have heard of it because it will render the mod non functional basically... You are on v2. 2, correct ? 🤔 Maybe you could try taking out the mod, launching a household and saving, then exiting putting the mod back in and launch again. This kinda should 'reset' the mod... You can also clear cache just to be safe...

I've used the normal version of the mod since it was released, but I only recently started using the Wonderful Whims version. I haven't removed any of the files, just copy-pasted straight from the download folder into my mods folder. I also have your Relationship Preference mod and Open Love Life and those options are generating fine in the Sim's personality panel and in the social menus, which I though was super weird!

You don't have the option to manually add them because they failed to generate in the first place, so that's not surprising, but them not generating is extremely surprising and as far as I remember, unheard of. Is this the first time you install the mod? Did you remove any files and if so which?

Hi, no pregnancy preference options are generating for my Sims and they aren't available to me in the Woohoo Wellness menu when I click on my playable Sims. I have the option to click on another Sim and choose their preference through the actions menu, but nothing happens when I do that. I'm using the WonderfulWhims compatibility version, any idea why that's happening?

That is because WW termination might check for pregnancy moodlets to verify pregnancy and can't find them with my mod as my mod uses its own things. Nothing I can do about it. If it is the case, mods that work like this often can change their system to test for object states instead, which also allows to check for trimester, as LMS did, but once again I can't guarantee anything as I don't know how his mod is made and why it's made that way, maybe there's an inescapable factor to taking into account the moodlets in that specific case, and I should not even try to explain or figure it out because I could be wrong and misinform others. It's not my business or area of ability to tell other people what to do with their mods or push for compatibility efforts, so it's up to them what they do or don't and it's only them who know if they could even change it around. I can only tell you it's not really a 'bug' and it's nothing I can change on my side.

I'm having issues with WW compatibility. The issue seems to be my sim is considered pregnant by woohoo welless (I see the buffs and everything) but in my sim is not considered pregnant by WW (the phone option to terminate the pregnancy and fertility options lead to show that the sim isn't pregnant even though they are). The reason I'd prefer the WW termination is because of the stat tracking system WW has.

Click on the sim concerned, go to 'actions' then 'Woohoo Wellness mod' :)

Moodlet will disappear if you travel for that type of pregnancy, that's listed in the 'limitations' section of the download post. As for not being able to send away the child, that's an issue some people get due to some mysterious conflict. There's a debug interaction under the 'family and Pregnancy' then 'status' menu for that. Check it out, you should see it and be able to use it.

Hey, love your work but i tried the surrogacy option for the first time but the pregnancy moodlet would keep disappearing and when the baby was born there is no option to send the baby away to the parents, i was wondering if theres a fix or if i'm doing something wrong? x

If you have wonderful whims version of my mod, it's wonderful handling risk and not mine. So check your Wonderful pregnancy settings. Make sure Mc Woohoo has risk to 0% otherwise that may conflict with wonderful whims risk. Not sure but I would imagine it's much possible.

Hello, my sims are getting pregnant every time they woohoo. I have wonderful whims installed and mcc pregnancy and I think it may be a conflict with one of their settings. I have the version of this mod that's for folks who have wonderful whims. I also have the WW birth control and your birth control in all of their inventories but still so many pregnancies. Do you know what I may have messed up?

Did you extract the files? How deep in did you put them? Do you have custom content and script mods enabled? It would be a very long thing to explain so I would advise looking up 'how to install Sims 4 mods' this way you can find tutorials with pictures or videos to make things simple.

Are they fully fake name or do you see one fake name here and there for I believe Gonorrhea? To check, you can go to relationship wellness then status then WTD cheats. If in the text is correct in the cheats then you're just seeing the few pieces of text that have gotten mixed up in the mod, nothing serious but an issue I know of

I play with WW and I have the WW additional file. I noticed that My WTDs are the fake names version even though I didn't add the fake names file.

It can't be negative, if it is you have a mod conflict. Either WW with native pregnancy override on, or Mc Woohoo with risk above 0. Check compatibility post and compatibility info in download post :)

If you look at the chart under the compatibility section in the download page, it explains the subtleties there. It's a little complicated. If you are not having issues, you may have settings that don't cause issues

I have the wicked whims mod and I never have any trouble with compatibility with the woo hoo module 8 or any of your downloads. Is that something to be concerned about or? Cuz u said WW isn't fully compatible with everything in this mod but it looks and seems compatible to me

For the sim you are controlling, go to 'family and Pregnancy' and you can change it there. For Sims that aren't the controlled sim, click them and go to actions then Woohoo Wellness and you can change their preferences there.

So when I download the additional file for wickedwhims now it only downloads as file. It doesn't download as like package or anything which confuses me? Shouldn't the file type show as a package?

DO you have Mc Pregnancy and do you have any setting that's not default under the 'offspring' part of that? Alternatively, do you have any custom crib cc? If you've read other posts you will know this is an issue some people are having I don't know why. I have never had it nor could I recreate it, same with my testers. Without either a ton more info or someone willing to troubleshoot with me from their game, using mccc to log various things on the way, I can't look into it, as I can't recreate the issue in my game.

The 'cheated on xyz'? Click on your sim who cheated then go to relationship wellness and in that sim status. There should be an interaction to remove those markers

Well that's all weird. This part of the mod has been around since August and it's the first time I've ever heard of such a case. Maybe try another pregnancy and let me know how it goes? If this happens again I'd call it concerning

My sim took a pregnancy test at someone else's house. She had the "does not want a pregnancy right now" trait. The 'eating for two' notification popped up, but no moodlet that she was pregnant or moodlets that had anything to do with a negative pregnancy. When she was in the 2nd trimester, suddenly the moodlets popped up . She did not travel anywhere. When she got to the third trimester, the moodlets went away again. When she was in the 1st and 3rd trimester she also had no specific options in the pregnancy pie menu (just the standard ones that non-pregnant sims have too). I had to manually put her into labour via MCCC, because she did not go into labour on her own. When the baby was born, she had no negative feelings towards the new baby (again, she did not accept the pregnancy) and no "new baby" moodlet or anything. Sim is a young adult.

Did you make her accept pregnancy? The pregnancy wish moodlets aren't supposed to be able to disappear, but the 'accepted pregnancy' ones may of your sim travels. How old was the sim? What did you do in game prior?

First of all, I am very sorry for your loss. Thank you for still taking time to respond to people and work on your mods, take all the time you need! I had a pregnant sim who did not want a child and in her 3rd trimester the pregnancy moodlet went away (she was still pregnant though). Because of this the options to deal with the "negative" pregnancy went away in the pie menu and she did not go in to labour herself (had to do this manually). Because of this she also had no negative feelings about the baby after birth. Another minor thing: the moodlet about "ongoing counseling" for pregnancy does not have a 'title' if you know what I mean haha (don't know if this is on purpose or not).

I have WW in my game & for some reason the surrogacy option for both side's carry & have someone else carry isn't coming up for me. Is their something im missing? A button I haven't pressed in the settings menu?

From either :) in that version protection from either mod works because Turbodriver and I agreed to make it so. Only wonderful provides pregnancy risk but protection from either mods will apply to it

You may have to let go of that pregnancy. It may be that too much time went by and the baby was born already. Or you have one of the mods that cause my stuff to not work. In the newer version this would not be an issue. I would advise just doing 'remove pregnancy type and paternity markers' on the Sim who asked for this surrogate and starting with a new one with the newer version of the mod.

Have you removed all files from previous versions? That was the issue of the person above. Sims no mater their gender or being single or not or same sex couple or not have options in "pregnancy and family" then "alternative pregnancy", if the mod is installed properly.

If you are not seeing menus then that sounds like it. Have you removed all old files from this mod? Is everything no deeper than one subfolder in the mods folder? Are script mods and custom content enabled?

I lost where my post was but I fixed it! It’s MCCC because I don’t have wonderful whims. But if I manually make her pregnant and then the pregnancy won’t advance so I manually move it forward in MCCC each day then she can give birth properly and send the baby away. Now granted I still have the buff of surrogacy being over even when I manually get her pregnant again but hey it’s a workaround for now.

BUG!! My sim got pregnant through artifical insemination. She asked her partner they agreed. Tried once nd it failed. Sim told partner and they both got the sad buff from failed insemination. Tried again and my sim got preggo but upon finding out she is getting the cheating buffs. Preggo sim got the tense pregnacy outside of relationship buff and upon telling the partner who agreed the partner got all the cheating buffs. angry, if they will accept the child, and sad??

Getting pregnant as a surrogate has 100% chance of success, for simplicity sake. Individual pregnancy risk doesn't impact that. It's a different process altogether. You're another one of those whose game does tlet things go through for whatever reason. My testers and I have no issue. It's unclear for now why you do. The files are as they should regarding setting the pregnancy risk. Not sure what's up. You can try clearing cache / game repair and let me know if it does anything. I don't know enough about why this happens to some to be able to tell what does it or how to avoid it.

I'm not having that issue and nobody did in testing that I remember. The mod doesn't allow failure for surrogate pregnancy. Pregnancy chance for surrogacy is also completely unrelated to pregnancy risk for Sims when Woohooing. Something must be interfering. What other mods do you have?

Not much I can do about that. My mod can't control mccc, and I'm not keen on removing the babies from the tree. Not at the moment. I like genealogy keeping a visible trace of things for players. Especially as we're going to go into adoption and whatnot

I am having the same issue as Jenn. When I try to be a surrogate or try insemination, I have set it to be female, can get pregnant, took away risky woohoo in MCCC and only had her in the household but it still always failed. I also tried resetting her through the pregnancy and family options and setting the rate to 100% and that still didn’t work. Am I doing something wrong?

I read through the responses, but didn't see anything answering my question, so forgive if this has already been addressed. When playing with MCCC with child support active, surrogates are being charged child support for the children that show on their family tree. Is there a work around for this other than turning off MCCC child support (used for other gameplay aspects)?

Well, it's set to never fail, so something has to be interfering. Have you tried with other Sims? What's the Sim's gender as set in cas? How many in the household?

I can't get my surrogate mother to have my baby, she's comes to the house and says oh I'm in labor and nothing happens. I also can't get pregnant to become a surrogate with played sims. it fails every time

I mean, I've already pushed chances of success way higher than they are in real life for artificial insemination (it's more around 10-15%, and the mod has 50%, because otherwise it would be too hard in game). IVF would be 20-25% in real life. I'm not against making it, it's just that I wanted to communicate that chances in game are already set pretty high. I'll add it as an even pricier but more successful option of artificial insemination.

It should mark the partner as father / mother in the relationship panel. The family tree is the genetic truth, the relationship panel statuses are the actual life relationships. Did you check in there?

I re uploaded after the first two hours of release because when saving up the files for upload I mixed up two things which caused that. You need to re download. For the Sims whom you sent, go in 'pregnancy and family' then 'status' then 'remove markers'. Then you can start again with the proper files

With the update WHW it gives me the option to be a surrogate and to have one for me, but when I send them off and they come back it won't let me have them take a pregnancy test? The walkstyle is the one and only thing not compatible, yes. Everything else is fine. This because LMS overrides the pregnancy buffs to remove the line of code that are the walkstyles. But my mod has its own buffs. So they're not impacted. At some point I'll have an alternative version without the walkstyles but for now my files change too often so it would be too messy to have alternative versions to update constantly on top of normal versions. This kind of thing I will do later when more modules are out. If you know anything about Sims 4 studio I can tell you how to remove the walkstyle yourself. It's just a matter of erasing one line or so.

hey! i love your mods. Quick question, is your mod compatible with LittleMsSams pregnancy overhaul? because when i use woohoo wellness with the pregnancy overhaul mod, my pregnant sims get the pregnant walkstyle that the pregnancy overhaul mod was supposed to remove. Thanks!

So i wanted mine to be a surrogate and then it said she should take a pregnancy test to find out if she is pregnant, but that is not possible to do?

Easily yes, but for now I want to wait and see what most people would like (3 days or shortened) and they'll figure it out after trying it out I think 😂 testing told me 3 sim days can seem very very long 😅 I could give an alternative file for longer duration but with the different mod versions it would get confusing. If you've join the discord server, post in the q patron channel and I'll upload there a 3 day version for you

I exited my game as soon as I got the notification for this! I'd love for my sims to earn money from being a surrogate and this could make an awesome challenge, can't wait to play with this mod! xx

It should work, just with its basic 25% risk. If you use Mc Woohoo for risk on top of having my mod and Turbo's, then it won't work. Otherwise it should, with the 25%.

Hey Lumpinou! <3 We talked about the Teen Pregnancy module and from what I understand teen pregnancy doesn't work with the WonderfulWhims compatible version. I was wondering if you would consider talking to Turbodriver about making the Teen Pregnancy use his pregnancy risk? Which in turn would make the Teen Pregnancy module work, is that correct? If not, then I completely understand! No worries <3 If that's the case then can you recommend how I can somehow get teen pregnancy to work (even temporally)? I appreciate all your hard work. You make the sims worth playing <3 Thank you very much and have a good day!

It's high time 😅 romantic trust has Eben started a while and we'll started, but after doing the cheating module I lost my inspiration on that theme and so, I want to work on other things until the excitement about those kicks back in. And adoption has been a long time coming, so, it has to be the next one
