Info on Upcoming Releases

Hello everyone and thank you for being here! I appreciate every single one of you and am glad if my mods can bring you some fun!

It seems that I never manage to quite meet a deadline, for lack of things just working right at the first try, or the third for that matters... That's the modding life. I do feel very sorry about it.

The littlest things have been proving difficult to get right but the littlest things are what make or break modules such as WHW 9 and WHW 10, and when it just decides to halt everything to a stop on a tiny element, I have little choice but to trudge through the days it takes to untangle all the knots.

On to how things stand with the current works in progress / upcoming releases.

*****  SHORT VERSION FOR THOSE OF US IN A HURRY ******

- Adoption pt2 to be out tomorrow night. It won't be locked so if you cancel your subscription you'll still have access to it, since it's out later than I thought it would be.

- Module 10 will be out next month.

** ADOPTION **

Finishing up the adoption module has been trickier than I originally thought, this because I decided to completely transform some of the background things that make the module work to better integrate some of the additions I'm making to the 'partial' version. It's been a time-consuming task but we're seeing the end of it! And I'll think many of you will like the changes, especially all the ways I ended up handling the family tree differently, because there were so many requests for that, and general crucial improvements to relationship statuses. In addition, I've changed some things with the Surrogacy module as well, mostly to address requests from you all regarding the family tree there as well.

** MODULE 10 OF WHW **

Module 10 is progressing, but is not ready.

Simultaneously working on WHW module 9 and WHW module 10 didn't make it any easier since I was splitting my focus between a pretty big module (10) and a smaller but complicated one (9). You can slap me over the head for thinking I can deal with more than I can chew at a time!

BUT. We are almost seeing the light, with the adoption module nearing its final form very quickly and I'm hoping to throw 'adoption - full format' into the wild tomorrow night.As for module 10, it's progressing closer to the 'things halt to a stop because tiny little elements must be aligned just right and that's the hard part' and with adoption out of the way and my full focus on it, it'll progress much quicker than it was until now.

** GENERAL NOTES **

The good news is that the most technically challenging parts of the woohoo wellness mod will be behind us once module 10 is out, and with 9 out of the way it's already a victory in that regard.

This means that the rest of the modules (add-ons) planned will likely come out closer to each other / faster than things have been since December-ish, since add-ons are still meaningful pieces but they shouldn't have as many interconnected elements that are hard to get just right.

MOD STRUCTURE AND PERHAPS A MOD RENAME

I am considering renaming the mod to "Relationship Wellness & Pregnancy Overhaul", what do you think?

If you visit the WHW mod description masterpage, you'll notice that it has changed as I have decided to start making posts for all the parts yet to be added to the mod. Because, finally, I am just about settled on what the mod will have in totality. I don't really intend to change that, so what's announced will all be done, and then no more modules, but simply expanding / improving existing things. By the time it's all out, it will be 10 modules and 10 add-ons, that's not a small mod!

Another thing, I'll be soon ready to review and edit some things from past portions of the mod to get to v3. Improvements to the core module / risk and protection are to be expected, and expansions to the teen module. So I think we'll do it this way: finish and release module 10 - up to v3 - work on the add-ons one after the other. The add-ons, I will be developing alongside the next mod project in line after WHW, a justice / crime mod.

And to finish - I can't tell you anything about it yet, but something is happening which I believe will mean I'll have some very good news for you all soon about something regarding the woohoo wellness mod. :)

NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PERKS FOR THIS MONTH?

I understand that some of you may be disappointed over getting only the rest of the adoption module in the current time frame. Trust me, I want module 10 to be finished and released at least as much as you want to, and probably more, yet I overestimated how much I could get done this month. If you're not happy with the result of this month and want a refund, write to me in a message here (NOT a comment preferably) and it will be happily given.
