Reminder end of month + info / prototype preview?

First things first, our usual monthly reminder: a new month is coming, and patreon charges for subscriptions on the first of each month, regardless of when you joined. If you do not wish for your subscription to renew, please cancel it now or on the 31st at the latest.
Secondly, a little update on modding progress.
Just like my released works, the work in progress has needed to be updated to accommodate the patch of this month. I have cut the woohoo wellness module 10 into three parts as of now, one of focusing on the 'separated' status, the second one focusing also on that and on divorces (amicable or not, discussions and court rulings regarding estate and children, etc.), and the third focusing on relationships that are already broken, and contains elements of coparenting and potential reconciliation.
I have done that because at the pace I am going because of my injuries, the whole module looks way too overwhelming. The separated status, I have somewhat truncated because of that same restrictive pace I am going at. It will not be but I wanted to be upon first release, in fact that applies to this entire module, but it will be something to start with, and then I can build on it little by little, and built on creating additions etc. for version 3 of the mod.
I do not normally do video of prototypes of mods, but for convenience and because I want you to know more or less what will come out soon for the separated module, I made a brief video of the mod prototype in action. I don't want anyone to get their hopes up, this will be a very small update, but it's a start back on track. I know everyone has been very patient and some of you itching for an update, so this video is for you. I am pretty ashamed of how small this is but I haven't been able to work more. Be aware, this this is not video of a product that is ready for release.
I wish I could explain to you exactly how things are for me right now, and make you understand that I would be much happier if I was in the capacity to make great progress on my mods and work on them at a very intense pace. I am frustrated about my current modding situation as I am frustrated about all the things in life that I cannot do at the moment and the pain and the psychological aspect of all this. I don't want to be heavy here, and I don't want to go into detail on any negative experience, I just want to make it clear to everyone that I wish things were different probably more than you do :)
I am still as happy as the circumstances let me and I will not give up on my modding projects.
I've had the steroid injection and I'm wearing the cast and we'll see how things go; my other hand is out of commission from packing and unpacking things when moving, as well but same deal, care and rest I hope will help!
Thank you again for your support in giving my mods a chance; I love to read all the messages of people who enjoy my mods and their game and I'm honored if my work can help you play out or develop your Sim stories. You all have awesome creativity.
Another note, I haven't been very active in the mod support section of my website as of late, and he needs support or have questions, I recommend reaching out on the discord for my mods, where there are more people who may be able to help and not just me. I stop by their daily as well.

I've had long haul covid this yer and had to cut back on all my work, so I resonate to your feelings. I do know we are all fellow humans and our health comes first. Take your time! Heal up! I did have an additional thought about the mod - even in temporary separations, spouses will often move out so maybe the ask to stay somewhere else interaction should go to the split household and move screen instead of the vacation screen?

2021-08-01 01:18:28 +0000 UTCI've has a surgery for that wrist almost three years ago, it fixed it but very soon after the surgery an accident tore it again and it's been so ever since, steroid injections are generally no luck on me but if all else fails I'll go for a surgery again. I'm pretty sure I injured that same ligament in my other hand now and have a now 6 year long history of upper limb issue and surgeries and it just never seems to stop everything having weakened so much. But I have to keep trying. I hope your wrist has been better and that all we keep well for you :)

As a creative who makes my living off of my artwork, I know how incredibly stressful it is to feel like you have to be constantly productive. I hope you don't wear that pressure too much. You deserve to have the space and time you need to heal and just be. :]

2021-07-31 20:24:49 +0000 UTCI empathize with you! I just a couple of years ago had to wear a munster cast and undergo surgery for torn ligaments in my wrist..Its painful but the steroid injections will definitely help, prayers for a speedy recovery.

I am happy to support a few dollars a month to be able to enjoy something that would be bland otherwise! Take your time. Take care of yourself. We all want to see you happy and healthy!

Luckily mine has never gotten worse than being woken up with pins and needles and goes away with a little rest, but it's horrible when it flares up (sleep deprivation, and depression often ensue). I've read many horror stories that mirror your experience. I can't imagine how disruptive and depressing it must be to have such a bad case. I feel for you and truly wish you the best and hope you find some relief.
