Policy Clarifications from EA
The title says it all; clarification about the case of Early Access has been made in the new EA Mod Policy page (see my previous post if you don't know what I'm talking about).
In the end, we are STILL allowed to do Early Access the way we have been.
For myself, I will stick to the old 'maximum 21 days' rule. Usually, I do anywhere between 1 to 3 weeks. For small things, I sometimes don't do early access at all.
I am glad to be able to offer Patrons this benefit again. Not only does it help me get support, and therefore maintain it possible to mod a lot, but ethically it is important for me to feel like my patrons get something Extra for their support. I also have requests & such benefits but I could hardly take on more of that than already exists.
Patrons make it so that I can mod the way I do, and deserve the benefit. Everyone else can have the mods free after early access as always - mods that couldn't exist, or would come about much, much, sooo much slower, were it not for Patrons supporting me and allowing me to do this as much as I do.
I have never and will never permanent-paywall mods. Permanent Paywalls have NEVER been allowed and this has been extremely widely known among creators for years.

AN ENORMOUS THANK YOU to all those of you who said you'd still support me even if early access was to be gone, and left nice words.
I couldn't reply to everyone as I'm supposed to chill with the 'using my hands too much' thing and the dictation program frustrates me, but I read every word of course.
You are AMAZING and when things get tough with modding, I am always encouraged and driven forward by knowing that I have YOU amazing people and your cool Sim stories behind me.
