DOWNLOAD:
- remove previous versions of this file, if you have any
- grab the RPO Core Library if you don't have it;
- grab the .package file from this post and put it directly into your mods folder or one subfolder (it's a .package file, so, not extracting!)

Hi. My sims recently adopted a baby, but it doesn´t show on her milestones that she had a baby/adopt a baby. What should I do? I don't have Pandasama Child Birth installed in my game.

2025-08-12 20:29:30 +0000 UTCHi, that is a bit of a particular situation - there is no option currently to adopt a sim with no parent, but this is a very reasonable thing, assuming that the sim has a household, and not overly complicated to add to what's already there so I will do that as soon as I can!

2025-06-19 22:38:06 +0000 UTCHi, it would depend on what is missing on the sim(s) so I'd need so see some sim logs to be able to say if it can be cheated on and how. You can share those on the discord :)

2025-06-06 19:12:07 +0000 UTCHi! I hope you are doing well. I had a sim couple have sextuplets and give up 2 for adoption to another couple. The issue is that when the two finally became teens, the option for the adopted family to tell the teen they were adopted was only available in one. Is there a way to fix this through the debugging menu? Also, possibly in an update could you possibly make it possible to give up more than one baby at a time, without having to go through the steps of getting permission from the partners. Thanks so much for all you do. Love your mods.

2025-06-06 02:11:39 +0000 UTCHi, this is due to the EA sims special event running currently. For whatever reason the EA game test for a event running in game considers that thing an event too

2024-12-23 00:18:22 +0000 UTCI can fill out an adoption application when clicking on the sim and going to adoption. It keeps saying that an event is in progress. There are no events in progress. I have redownloaded the install, cleared localcache, and repaired the game.

Otherwise you might have a commodity related issue, EA has some weird on and off bugs with vanishing those in certain circumstances. But I can't tell, unless if you wanted to come over on discord and share logs of your sim done from right before they open the letter

2024-11-12 19:28:03 +0000 UTCHi I’ve had some issues with the adoption mod. Basically, if I have a sim in a couple, when I click on the ‘discuss putting child up for adoption’ or the ‘discuss adopting a child’ the action goes into the queue but then disappears and turns into a different friendly interaction. Also, I haven’t been able to find the option to contact the host family for a child put up for adoption or anything to do with telling the child that they’re adopted.

Somehow I don't get the possibility for the adoptive parent to tell the now teenager about the adoption. Instead the adoptive parent can give the teen up for adoption. Is there a way to fix this?

2023-08-06 14:51:47 +0000 UTCHi hun!! I don’t know why, but, when I click adoption, it tells me to talk to my partner, they agree, and then nothing happens. The baby is still there in the household. I tried with an adult sim and a teen sim. When I hover over the option, it says it will hold for the next pregnancy, and that’s it.

When my sim couple adopted the baby of a friend, my sim mom was listed as the baby's mother and adopted mother, and the sim dad was listed as the "step father" in the family tree? How do I have the married couple both listed as the parents of the adopted baby?
