[RPO] Current Works in Progress

For those of you who like to have an inkling, here is just a brief word on what I'm working on / what to expect for this month-ish.
* RPO M1 changes and additions
Namely new options, moodlets and interactions regarding:
- specifying how strongly a sim doesn't want children;
- specifying how many children a sim wants, if they do want children;
- having sims' family preferences evolve, due to talks, life events, and such. (Examples: a sim develops a strong relationship with their nephew and wonder if maybe they'd want a kid too, a sim has two miscarriages and now becomes against being pregnant)
- And other small things
(this one might incidentally help you keep count for the 100 baby challenge aha) 
(The wording on this one is awkward so I'll change it)
* Other RPO Collection changes and additions
- work on RPO m3
- a new setting for a thing or two if I have time to do what I plan
- AFTER m1 and m3, work on continuing m4 additions (which you can read about here if you missed the talk back then)

As a side note, due to recent malicious mod reposts that contained dangerous malware on MTS, CF and other platforms, I want to remind everyone again to:
- NEVER download mod bundles from anyone (other than mod creators who bundle their own mods);
- NEVER download mods anywhere that isn't known as an 'official' source for the specific modder who made the mod.
- if you download people's save files, check them to make sure there's no files in them that don't belong.

2024-02-27 16:08:01 +0000 UTCI have a sim that doesn't want to have children right now. Their partner doesn't either. I'd make my sims not want children ever if that was already available. Now. for all that they don't want children I'm making them pretty irresponsible in contraception department. Because for story reasons, I want them to became pregnant, I made sure , in your mod, in ww, and in cas my sim could became impregnated. But because random isn't working and there was not pregnancy, I rised my sim's fertility and checked if that worked. The game (your mod, I think) said there were 100% chances of pregnacy if having my sim would have woohoo. But still, my sim isn't pregnant. I even cut cryptic pregnancies as I was getting frustrated, so. My sim is a teen, genderfluid, that can became impregnated. What is happening? Is it because of age, is it because they're having ww instead of the game woohoo? Or is it because THEY don' want to have children? Although I do.

2024-02-11 20:00:21 +0000 UTCI ❤️this SO MUCH! This is exactly what was going on with both Gen 8 and 9 in my LP. Gen 8, because of aging, both wanted a child but the older sim only wanted 1 child. For Gen 9 my heir knew at least one child was "required" but he's in college and is very much "not right now please"... I assume this will be dynamic (with the right settings enabled)? This does remind me of a question I've been meaning to ask. Is the gender preference supposed to be dynamic? I allow my sims to have a gender preference but I've yet to see one expressed. I generally don't "choose" those things for my sims, if I as the player have to choose a gender preference its probably never gonna happen. However, I'd love to see gameplay with my sim naturally preferring one sex or the other (with the ability for me to change it if I don't think it makes sense for them, of course) and then write the LP based on that.
