Lonnie probably would've been safer just leaving town with his family on his own. Bounced to somewhere as a starting point before involving Luthen at all. But he was the key to winning the rebellion.

2025-07-07 22:38:34 +0000 UTCRegarding your question at the end re: why he killed Lonni; i think you are right, but i think there's more to it. I think, given how close ISB was to Luthien there was no way to get Lonni *and* his family out safely. I think Luthien believed (probably correctly) that if questioned Lonni would break under interrogation-especially if he thought it would protect his family. Personally, I think Luthien made the best choice given his options, but Lonni should absolutely be recognized as the hero he was.
