Weathernews popping

An idea that's been in me noggin for a long time.
You might not be too familiar with it but Weathernews is a fairly popular YouTube channel that's all about current weather in Japan; it's running 24/7 and the hosts are all cute girls (plus lethargic male meteorologists).
I have it on now and then in the background, it's good stuff. In the past they used quite a lot of green screen in their presentations and the keying was preeeetty bad. So bad that I thought "wow we could probably do a spoof on this". Well, in the time it took us to get to the idea they changed to presenting mostly in their studio set but still, it's a fun idea: a fake TV (not really) programme.
The toughest decision was choosing the fake 'universe' so to speak our programme would be set in. I ended up basing it here in St. Petersburg with a Russian host. Kind of gives most of our viewers, even Japanese viewers a genuine gaijin Weathernews experience where you don't understand much. Well, not completely so in our case as there are subtitles but many of the graphics still have jokes you might not get even after google lensing them.
I knew immediately Carnelian would be a good pick and she surprised me with a very nice variety of cute business lady outfits. As mentioned in the vid itself, the outfit we picked ended up souring the post production process a bit but it wasn't too bad.
The studio wasn't too bad; it's owned by some production company specialising in live broadcasts. The chromakey set is just a side hustle for them. Pre-lit with a suspension system and three seamless green walls, excellent stuff. They had cameras in there for security and after the shoot the owner, quite confused asked us what the video is about. Thankfully, the usual 'oh this is for tiktok' worked fine. I'm about to crash out a couple paragraphs below but I can't take away the very convenient quality balloon fetish has: no one ever suspects you're making erotica/porn.
Post-production was laborious but not all that complex, surprisingly. It's very easy to create parodies because a lot of creative work has already been done for you. Graphics, lower thirds, even the intro and the music. I've recreated Weathernews' graphics quite closely I'd say, even the strangely bad ones. I hope the 2.5 looners who like that channel found it amusing.
It is of course early to say but for how much effort I spent making this the video isn't selling at all. I've come to realise that in this 2025 push for variety I'm perhaps focusing too much on the fun idea first and what balloons get used becomes a secondary consideration. The balloon we picked was good, Generic Looner art printed on it and all but that's not enough. I try to keep myself going with these original ideas but it's getting harder and harder. The day after the shoot I was so exhausted I was almost throwing up. The European heat wave isn't helping either. On my way to the post office today I was genuinely considering quitting right there and then. Trying to treat porn as art is a fool's errand and I am VERY stupid. Having all of my stuff be paygated is bad for feedback, too. Maybe I should just fuck off into the sunset now and leave the community with the slop. Or maybe I'll live to make another c4s upload.
Forest green fucking goober.

<div ><div><span class="text">hitoribocchi989, That's not the issue at all. Coming up with fun ideas is easily my main and arguably only talent. The problem is that I have to implement them in high quality videos that are also dependant on other people, in a 7-day cycle, 52 of them. Evidently it's possible but I'd like a little more than sixty bucks and one comment in exchange.  </span></div><div></div></div>
