A curious shoot for sure.

Decided to fully focus on the aesthetics for this one. If you've seen the video you already know I needed to rent out some extra lights to blast the lil' pool for the pretty water caustics. Otherwise the set design carries this pretty hard; I will say wet balloons + feet was a great idea though.

Renting the extra lights was easier than usual because the rental office was like 200 meters away from our shooting location. I grabbed a magliner to put all of our stuff on and had a PA help me tow it across the streets of St. Petersburg which was really funny (to me). To save time we needed to use a small and historic Bank Bridge, with lots of apologising to confused tourists. By the time we wrapped it was darkness outside already. A Georgian cuisine restaurant helped restore the spirits after a tough day.

Celestine did great aside from one small snag along the way where she sitpopped a balloon despite me desperately trying to signal that the video is about b2p and FEET. Feet! Fun fact in the context of fetishes 'feet' and 'legs' are the same word in Russian.

I also shot way too little b-roll (because I simply forgot) which is very obvious in the final cut. I even considered going back to the studio on a later day for like 30 minutes to toss the balloon shards back in the pool and film them floating about but decided against it because of tight deadlines.

It's a bit of a shame I couldn't truly showcase how pretty this cosplay is; I think it looks even better with the model standing up. Alas, both the idea and the set pretty much call for a sitting setup.
