Dyani can be encountered during "the elusive husband" quest (you get access to the quest board once you killed one Gatoroid and show it to the Oracle). Leave the village to the south and then exit the swamp entrance to the west until you find a pole in the water you can interact with. A boat will appear and you can reach a small island. Deny the first offer and take the second one if you want Dyani or refuse twice if you want Taraji, the quest giver.
