I like this comment. Detention to characters is a good thing but I don't think everyone needs to have a quest tied to them. I think it's ok for some people in the brothel to just be content with their lives and doing their job. So maybe what gives them dimensional isn't that everyone needs help and has a quest but that they can be seen and interacted with outside of their lives in the brothel. That to me feels like they are characters that everyone in the base game can interact with. So maybe it is less Patron and subscriber specific women in the brothel and more Patron and subscriber specific interactions in a broad sense. I wouldn't want the non tiered player experience to be "oh I'll only do anal with you if you are x tier subscription" but perhaps being x tier triggers the dimensional interactions with them in a way that doesn't tarnish the non tiered gameplay experience. Maybe on the backend this looks like X only triggers if Y item is held and that item is picked up in the Patron tower. To extend the idea a bit, X could be dialogue or interaction options or maybe where / when characters show up or even items in a shop. This can keep it broad and allow the tiered content to be sprinkled all through the game. Sorry for the long and maybe convoluted comment. Happy to talk about this more if needed.

2023-07-22 06:28:05 +0000 UTCI realize I'm in the minority but brothel plots in RPG are boring to me. Far more fun if they're a real character involved in the plot than just transactional sex. Unless you make them real, three dimensional characters, like one where you help them get out of the brothel and set up their own, I dunno, liquor-making business, which unlocks an extra strong health potion you can buy on the side or some such in addition to booty calls. That could be fun.

2023-07-21 18:11:42 +0000 UTCAn idea you can do with pet shop is you can do all mission on Naagi there. You could do a tier exclusive Naagi. You can have the pet shop owner researching on the Naagis and can give a bit lore and help give idea where the other Naagi are. I don’t know how many Naagi you’re planning to put, but let say if you find them all it unlock a special Naagi like the King of the Naagi.
