I Got Maid in ATG c11

Xiao Tianlong left the house and went to explore. His goal was to learn some techniques and understand how they are made.

If he grasps that, then he can make techniques of his own.

That is why he was in Blue Wind Profound Palace. This place has techniques, but they are also extremely basic.

Basics are good for him, as he will be able to understand the mechanics of Profound Arts.

The Inner Palace of Blue Wind Profound Palace had three Halls: the Cultivation Tower, the Weapons Hall and the Profound Arts Hall.

Two of them are not needed by him. All he wants from this place is the profound arts; he wants to figure out the mechanics behind the Profound energy utilisation.

Once he figures that out, he can create his techniques of his own.

It’s probably the most interesting thing apart from him gathering those maids.

Now that he is a Monarch and has Heavenly God’s Spiritual Veins, he has the foundations to make Profound Techniques.

So, with Cang Yue undergoing her purifying baths and Ye Hongling cultivating, he has free time to explore the Profound Arts Hall.

“Esteemed Young Master, do you wish to check our Profound Arts library? I doubt you would find anything of interest.” A middle-aged man who was guarding the place got Xiao Tianlong’s attention.

“Yes, I am. Don’t mind me, I am here to check techniques for reference.” The Monarch waved his hand casually as he entered the hall.

The guard understood what he meant. The young genius is most likely thinking of creating his own art!

“I need to tell the chief this information!” If they can get even a scrap of information on what he is making, they could improve their overall strength!

‘Fire Fist’ The First one to catch my attention was a set of fire-based fist techniques.

They are extremely basic and, if overused, could potentially burn even the user.

‘But if I am to use with my Sacred Lord physique, I won’t get those burns.’ 

Honestly, it didn’t matter what these techniques did. All I need is the mechanics of profound energy utilisation. 

Once I ascend and become the strongest, it will be my hobby. Unlike Yun Che, who only has plot armour and no resources, I am the opposite of that.

I got resources and no heaven to watch me over.

‘Though the heaven in this universe is in a vegetable state.’

After reading what the technique does, I began to read the manual.

‘Are they serious!?’

I pulled back from the text and looked at it in complete disbelief!

It was simple text! With intent behind it!

Profound energy reacts to the words and intent behind them!

‘The routines are hidden in the words and intent. This is… so easy!

This place is in goddamn easy mode! I expected something far more profound!’

I recalled how the entire Ice Phoenix technique is buried in simple words of freezing everything. It is impressive that all of the routines, moves, and arts can be compressed into simple text.

“I need to test it,” I mumbled under my breath as I swiftly collected several techniques, like blue wind strike, Boulder Shattering punch and some sword strikes.

With books in hand, I swiftly left the Hall and flew away.

Moments later, I landed in front of my house and walked inside.

“Master…” Ye Hongling, who was about to eat another sweet, looked at me. I can sense that her cultivation has improved. She was in [True Profound Four].

“Ling’er. I need to discuss something with you.” I walked in and sat down on the living room’s couch. I placed the books on the table and motioned for her to come over.

The maid slowly nodded as she wondered what I wanted to speak about.

“When you were in New Moon Profound Palace, you attended lectures there, I am right?” 

She slowly nodded at his question. 

“Then I can assume they taught you about Profound Arts?” 

“Yes.”

“Then tell me what Profound Arts are,” I asked her curiously; he wanted to learn the details.

“Umm, well…” She nerviously fiddled for a bit before explaining whatever she could. “Profound arts is like a compilation of specific profound energy routines, it can be offensive, defensive, movement techniques and so on. These routines are stored in Dantian, one of the areas where the core of Profound Veins is.”

As she was explaining, I recalled Yun Che stabbing Xiao Yulong in the dantian. He immediately lost his cultivation.

But to think that there is a ‘physical’ form to it.

‘Didn’t Chu Yuechan place one hand on dantian and the other on her heart to shatter the foundations of her Frozen Cloud Arts?’

“However, when Dantian is shattered, one can still recultivate the art, as the routines are stored in one’s heart," She finished explaining to me.

“I see, so this is why if I practise fire, I can’t practise ice, as it would conflict inside of my Profound Veins.” I reasoned, recalling the moment when Yun Che gained Frozen Cloud Arts from Chu Yuechan. It conflicted with his Phoenix Arts, knocking him out the very next moment.

“Yes. Master, you shouldn’t try that. It’s very dangerous," The girl said in a very serious voice.

“I won’t.” I nodded at her. I was already role-playing as ‘Sacred Lord,’ so I won’t switch sides now.

“I am thinking of making profound arts. I already have a general idea of how it works. What is left is figuring out the details.” I stroked my chin while saying that. 

“Y-You do? Profound arts are generational. It takes years just to grasp them! Not to mention making them!” The girl explained in shock. My words to her most likely sound crazy to her.

“It depends on a few things,” I replied. I had heard that before and read about it before. I remember how Yun Che learned something that takes centuries to learn.

If he grasped how profound arts work in general, he most likely shortened the learning period exponentially.

There is a difference between knowing what you are doing and having no idea what you are doing.

Comprehension does have a part to play, but it can be interpreted in several ways. 

One can easily learn through combat, or have a sixth sense, or others can easily master profound energy manipulation.

But I already noticed that with Heavenly God’s Spiritual Veins, I  have a superior sense over Profound Energy.

“Don’t worry, I'll teach you how to cheat the system.” I winked at her. My comment made her confused.

Poor girl. She has no idea about ‘cheating’. In this reality, everyone wants to cheat inside the system, not outside of it.

By inside the system, I mean going around raiding other sects, temples or empires just to get more resources. They never consider something like cheating by hacking the system.

“What do you mean?” 

Instead of replying, I motioned for her to relax.

“For now, make my Princess finish with her cleansing baths; after that, I can show what I mean.” 

Ye Hongling stiffly nodded as she returned to her previous location, while I went to read the other books I brought.

The remaining books confirmed the mode they use to make the arts.

First, one develops the technique. For me to do that, I need to rotate the Profound Energy in a specific pattern, then build up the intent and make sure the energy reacts the way I want.

Once that is complete… my guess is that the routines and the art will manifest in the dantian and the heart.

Excitement washed over me as I wanted to see how this would work.

With that in mind, I placed the books on the table, left the house, and rushed high into the air.

In the air, I crossed my legs and ‘sat down’, then I crossed my arms and began to ‘play’ with my profound energy.

The first thing that I need is a foundational art—the backbone of all of the future arts.

Not just some simple arts like cultivation assistance, but something that could help me ‘cheat’ in utilising Profound Energy.

Since I want to abuse the intent of Profound Energy, I need something like a Conduit.

So I started to imagine a focus point, where profound energy gathers and that it responds to my desire.

I tried several ideas until there was a reaction to ‘gates’.

The infamous and classic gates are where the carp passes through, and the flood dragon comes from the other side. 

The gates of transformation, before I realised profound energy surged and rushed to the centre of my dantian.

Intent transforms into reality.

However, it was so powerful that it began to drain my cultivation!

‘Shit!’

Thankfully, I have bags of pills that I began to eat, to feed whatever I created in my Dantian.

After several hours of torturous draining and replenishing, my cultivation calmed down and stabilised at [Sovereign Profound One].

‘I hope it's not something useless, and it's usable.’

With the intention of testing, I swiftly flew away towards the closest known location where I could find Profound Monsters.

A couple of minutes later, I landed in something similar to a wasteland. It was similar to a barren land.

“It will do, now to see if my transformation gates work.” 

I used my senses and found a couple of sources of profound energy. These will be good tests for the art I have created.

Seconds later, I was looking at ironback wolves, these were beasts in [Spirit Profound]. 

They were good enough to see my profound art work.

With a hand motion, I softly said the magic words. 

“Burn.”

My profound energy surged as I imagined what would happen to this Profound Beast.

The next second, the beast ignited into flames as it began to burn.

“Whoa! It did work…” Sure enough, the beast began to thrash from pain as the fire consumed it.

Before long, all that was left was a crystal. 

The other creatures thought of running away, but I kept them in check with my Profound Energy.

“Now then… explode.” I motioned at another beast.

…

Like a balloon, the wolf’s body expanded; it increased in size…

Then…

BOOM

The body exploded in red bloody mist. There were no body parts or anything left.

I looked surprised. It was far more gruesome than I imagined.

However, my next few experiments failed, as I wanted to ‘restore’ them.

None of the reversals worked. I assume that was because I needed to improve the gates further.

I need specific intent. It would seem that to create, I need far more power, and there are layers to such things.

But it was fine, I don’t truly want to ‘make’ stuff. I wanted to see the limits of my cheating.

These conduit gates were fantastic in shrinking down the already easy-to-make profound arts.

The next thing that I did was to create actual Profound Art.

“But before that… It was already getting dark.” I looked at the sky. The sun was setting. I need to return to the house.

As I entered the house, my first maid greeted me. Ye Hongling smiled as she looked at me. The girl has improved her cultivation further. 

She was already in late [True Profound]. 

“Well, it appears you are close to [Spirit Profound]”, I commented as I saw how happy she was. 

“Yes! I am approaching what elders considered my limits before meeting you.” The black-haired maid gushed. She reminded me that her supposed limit for cultivation was early [Spirit Profound].

“Yes. I remember, my one was around the same.” I said with a small smile.

“Yet, you easily broke through it.” The maid approached me as she had a certain look on her face.

“Indeed. Cultivation is all about breaking those limits.” I replied to her as my hands wrapped around her waist. I pulled her in a hug.

A small smile appeared on her lips.

“Yes~~.”
