The pair of Saiyans wondered if their Goddess had some new scheme for the timelines with bad ends.
As they arrived, they saw her in her Time Power Unleashed state, which was confusing. Doesn’t that state drain her energy?
“Lady Aeos, do you wish to see us?” Gohan respectfully asked.
Instead of saying anything, the blue-haired Goddess looked at him intensely. It’s like she is looking at him for the first time.
‘Is she okay? What is with that gaze?’
“I do. Follow me.” Eventually, she spoke, standing up and walking down from her throne. Aeos walked over, looking at Gohan from top to bottom.
‘What is with her?’
“I do have some plans.” She looked at Bardock.
“One of them involves Saiyans. I am thinking of recruiting the entire race to my cause.” She said that to Xeno Bardock.
“...that would be difficult.”
“Even if we have Super Saiyan God, with undisputed strength?” She reasoned, making Bardock frown. He pondered what she wanted.
“Did you recruit someone new?”
“Hmm, it depends on perspective. Since this individual ended up… winning me over,” Aeos tried to explain, but she danced around the subject.
“What do you mean?”
“Hmm.” She hummed before thinking how to explain. She does value Bardock quite a bit. He is her first member and strongest warrior.
“You see, I was away for over six years.”
The trio looked surprised! She was away for that long!?
Well, this place has a strange time flow, being outside time and all that.
“I was ambushed by Demigra. He ended up sealing my power and nearly killing me. I ended up falling into a newly diverged timeline.
This timeline… is very different from your two timelines.” She looked at Bardock and then Gohan.
“...a Timeline where the real Saiyan God emerged, not a transformation?" The rogue Saiyan Warrior asked. He knew about the transformation. While impressive, it’s a temporary one, something Saiyan may or may not listen to.
“In a way.” Aeos smiled mysteriously before motioning to follow her as the group walked out of the throne room into a corridor.
“It’s a timeline where I meet a twelve-year-old Son Goku, who has already achieved Super Saiyan and can wield magic.”
The pair's eyes widened.
“Father, that strong at such an age?” Gohan exclaimed in shock.
The Blue-Haired Goddess smirked. “He saved my life and taught me how to refine my powers to this degree.” She motioned at herself.
“Is this why you are in your powered state?” Bardock asked. Now he is interested in what his son taught the Goddess.
“Precisely, he mastered Super Saiyan to such a level that it became his base power.”
“Impressive, as expected from father.” Gohan looked impressed, and strangely, he called him respectfully. This Gohan does feel that he deserves to call him ‘dad’, especially how strong he sounded.
“That was six years ago.”
The pair once again looked shocked.
“What did he do over those six years?”
“I will explain. But first.” They arrived at a terrace where Aeos sat in a comfortable chair and summoned a tea set. She motioned for them to sit.
The pair of Saiyans sighed and sat down in offered seats. The Rogue Saiyan ended up leaning into the seat with crossed arms.
It was clear to him that his son had severely changed the Goddess before him, to the point that she stayed with him for years.
“Tea?” She offered, but the pair nerviously declined, or Gohan did. Bardock simply shrugged.
“In that case.” Since they don’t want, she poured some for herself before beginning to explain.” When I landed, he saved my life as Demigra sealed my power and made a seal that drains my life.”
The trio looked a bit worried. They didn’t expect such an attack from that Demon God so early after being defeated.
“What Goku did was make a makeshift seal that drains the other seal’s power. Ingenious move.
After helping me, I offered a reward. Do you know what he asked?” She asked them with a small smile.
The pair of Saiyans wondered for a second.
“Help with dragon balls?” Gohan replied, recalling his father spending his childhood looking for magical stones.
“He asked… me to be… his fiancée.” She ended up dropping a bombshell.
“...”
“...”
“Huh…”
“...”
The Saiyans were speechless!
“That’s definitely not my father. I remember my mother saying that it was her who proposed," Gohan commented with a strained look.
“I can guess that you declined, being Supreme Kai and all that stuff.” Bardock reasoned as well. He is a bit…well… having a boss as a relative is strange.
“On the contrary, I accepted.” She ‘broke’ the pair further.
“I thought Kais didn’t have such a thing.” Gohan countered.
“I am no Kai. For many years now, Chronoa has filled my position.” Aeos shrugged, reminding them of that.
“Huh, so it’s like that.” Regardless, Xeno Bardock ended up accepting; in the end, he is a pragmatic soul.
“Still…” Gohan struggled. Thankfully, he is traumatised enough not to care that much…
“It is. That is why I spent enough time with him, knowing that he is more than capable of gaining Saiyan's support.
He taught me how to refine my powers. He can transform into Oozaru at will. His mastery over Ki is something I haven’t seen in a Mortal before.”
“Then I can guess he is close to becoming a Saiyan God?” Bardock reasoned. If his Goddess is saying such things, then he believes it is so.
“Indeed. He is stronger than I.”
“!!!”
“!!!”
The pair looked surprised, even Vidro, who was standing behind Aeos. Stronger than Aeos? At that age!?
“Whoa… This incarnation of Father is something else.” Gohan is a bit spooked. No wonder he proposed to a literal Goddess.
“Now, I want to fight him.” Bardock couldn’t hide his curiosity anymore! This version of Kakarot is something else!
“You will have your chance,” Aeos smirked, before dropping the biggest bombshell of them all.
“Because I need you two to be guardians of my son.”
“!!!”
“!!!”
The pair's brains stopped working as they just stared at Aeos.
A Supreme Kai… is expecting a child? From Mortal no less! AND it's Goku’s kid!?
“That was my reaction.” Vidro saw how the pair looked at Aeos.
“Shouldn’t be that surprising. Goku had Gohan around that age.” The Blue-Haired Goddess shrugged as she sipped her tea. Now she is feeling like eating something. It would seem pregnancy is making her have strange urges when it comes to food.
Even if Kais like her supposed to only survive on liquids like water.
“...I-I see…”
‘Wow, Dad… I have no idea if I should be horrified or impressed that you were able to make Lady Aeos your future wife… this is crazy.’ Sweat was dripping from Gohan’s face.
Unlike Gohan, Bardock smirked before asking.
“So you want us to protect him?” The Saiyan asked.
“Precisely. With my… list of enemies, one can never have enough protection.”
Every single Demon wants her dead. And she is not even the current Supreme Kai of Time. That goes to Chronoa, but even then, Chronoa has her time patrollers.
So, the current Supreme Kai has her own soldiers, unlike her, who only have a few. She never needed them before, but with how many timelines there exist, she might need more. That is why she wants Saiyans as her minions… or more accurately, her future husband’s minions. After all, she lost that fight, so she follows his lead…or more like arranges stuff to happen.
“I see… this is a curious development.” Bardock smiled. He wanted to see this strange development continue and how his grandson’s counterpart would look. With such parents, he won’t be a pushover.
“You don’t say,” Gohan commented before sighing. He is the most baffled about this.
Aeos being a possible mother to an incarnation of him? That’s just crazy! Just thinking about it makes him feel chills! His mother was scary! And she was a mortal human! Yet, this one is a Supreme Kai of Time! A Goddess who can be unfeeling sometimes!
Just thinking about it makes him shake his head.
But he does want to see Earth again. And see what this version of his father looks like.
“Good, then we are in agreement.”
~~~~~~Later~~~~~~
As Goku was in a soothing mental state, slowly converting his Ki to God Ki, he felt how a group of people with decently cold Ki entered the training Realm.
‘Huh?’
His eyes opened, and he looked to the side.
He saw a group of people dressed in black gather before him. Leading at the front was his fiancée.
She brought her followers.
Not entirely unexpected.
He landed on the ground before walking over.
“Like I said. I brought some people who will help us.” She began to speak, her arms crossed, looking quite smug.
“You will have two Saiyans to train with since it will be difficult for me later on,” Aeos explained why such a group would be necessary; with her pregnancy, the Goddess doesn’t want to fight; it’s the least of her concerns.
“Of course.” He nodded before looking at the gathered people. It was strange for both groups. For Warriors in Black, it was VERY strange. The most impacted one is Gohan. The half Saiyan was baffled. This version of Father was younger than he was by a lot. On top of that, he got together with his boss, not his mother. That’s very strange in his opinion! In all the timelines, he saw his father always end up with his mother! But this one? Nope… he went not for any mortal! No! He went for the Supreme Kai level being! Unheard of!
“Quite the group you got there.” Goku looked at them. “I can assume it’s a version of my dad.” He looked at Bardock, who smirked at him.
“We were supposed to discard our past, Lady Aeos,” Bardock mentioned that little detail.
“By all means. The tournament is over, and my opinion has changed. You can call yourself however you want.” The Blue-Haired Goddess replied.
“Is that so?” Bardock grinned for a second. Fighting different versions of his son is something he likes about this time-travel mumbo-jumbo.
“Then it’s fine with me. What do you say, Kakarot? My boss told me that you are stronger than her. I want to see that for myself.” Bardock’s hands went to his bandana. Making sure it’s in place before inspecting his arm guards.
“That sounds like a great idea, Dad.” Goku grinned similarly, making Bardock smile. The pair walked away from the group.
The newcomers noticed that Goku’s hair was blonde. The cyan eye colour confirmed this, indicating a Super Saiyan state.
Yet it was in such a relaxed state. It was something they had never seen before. Only the Super Saiyan God had similar looks.
As the newcomers pondered what this state was, Bardock clenched his fists, his hair spiked up, before a golden aura consumed him as he transformed into a Super Saiyan.
“Oh, so that's how Super Saiyan achieved through rage looks like.” While it was visually the same as Goku. His extremely refined Ki senses could tell that the core of this transformation is what causes an instability.
At Super Saiyan one, it can be ignored and refined, but this instability becomes apparent at Ascended Super Saiyan and then Super Saiyan Three.
It’s what causes such a drain on stamina.
“No more talking! Let’s fight, Kakarot!” Bardock kicked off as he dashed towards Goku.
The Earth raised Saiyan leisurely took a martial arts stance. The Rogue Saiyan went for a ferocious punch, but this is where Goku leisurely redirected the punch.
The older Saiyan’s eyes widened as he lost balance with such a move. Before he could recover, Goku delivered a kick to his legs.
The attack caused Bardock to lose his centre of gravity. Before he could recover with his flight, Goku smacked him down with a ferocious slap-like strike to the back.
The force behind the blow caused the Super Saiyan to slam into the white ground. The impact caused him to bounce off the ground. It was that strong! Before he was sent rolling away.
Bardock ended up coughing after he stood up.
“Not bad… son.”
