ATG: Formation Master c14

Ling Yuefeng’s hand trembled as he looked at what was happening before him. 

Chu Yuechan, his dream woman, was flirting with that Prince in front of him! Bit by bit, his anger slowly began to rise.

Not only did he corrupt the Fairy of Frozen Beauty, but he was even doing this in front of him! Then he humiliated his wife, who had not left her pavilion since the last day!

Just like that, something had snapped inside of him, and he began to plot.

‘Hmm? Killing intent?’

Cang Long, who was whispering to his darling fairy, stopped and focused on the source.

Chu Yuechan stopped as well, as she felt the same thing.

The pair used their improved senses and picked up the source.

“That fool. He hasn’t grown up one bit.” The fairy whispered to him.

“How could one forget such a beauty?” He joked, making her roll her eyes at his comment.

“Joking aside, he is thinking of killing you. I doubt he can take any more.” She commented.

“Let him; his problems are not mine. If he attacks, I will simply kill him. If Sword Villa rebels, I will end it, too. It’s even better if they rebel; this place is close to the Imperial City.” Cang Long had already begun to think about what he would do with this area.

“I see your point.” She already heard about him taking over a Thunderfire Fortress and changing it into huge barracks. The transition was smooth.

After the initial observation, the pair somewhat ignored the killing intent and returned to flirting. The fairy has changed since last night; she is much more accepting of cuddles, even in public places.

Without even knowing, the preliminaries ended smoothly for all the major factions.

The group returned to the manor quite bored.

Thankfully, they had guests!

“S-Sister, what were you doing in front of everyone!” The Fairy of Frozen Glass exclaimed as she arrived at Imperial Manor to complain.

“What do you mean?”

“S-Sitting on lap! K-K-Kissing in public!” Chu Yueli clarified, though it was a hard thing to do!

“Why not? If my Prince wants, what can I do to stop him?” Chu Yuechan shrugged nonchalantly. She couldn’t see why she couldn’t do it. The fairy was proud of her beauty and knew that her Prince desired her.

“I-In front of the entire Blue Wind Sects!”

“They should know to whom I belong.” Once more, she shrugged, not caring.

“Ugh! That just embarrasses us further!” Chu Yueli groaned. How could her sister have fallen like that?

“What I did doesn’t bring shame, you silly girl. It makes them jealous.” Chu Yuechan explained that compared to her little sister, she was an expert in emotions.

“...”

After a bit, she calmed down, not realising that she had worked up, but eventually, a breath escaped from her lips.

For a couple of moments, she didn’t say a thing, but then she asked one thing that had been on her mind for the whole day since she learned that her sister was alive.

“Sister…do you have it?”

“Have what?” The ex-Frozen Beauty asked, not knowing her little sister’s angle.

“I am talking about the power… the imperial family has…” Chu Yueli noticed her sister’s eye colour change. It’s the same colour as Cang Long’s and Cang Yue’s.

Does it mean she has that Dharma Body thing?

“Oh, are you interested?” Chu Yuechan moved a bit forward, looking at her sister’s expression.

“How could I not? It’s the most unique Profound Art in the whole Empire, if not the whole Continent!” The little sister exclaimed loudly.

“Hn…” Chu Yuechan’s eyes glowed, and her slightly feminine body lines manifested above her for a few moments before disappearing.

“Ohhh… your cultivation! I felt that it… became far denser! It would be nice if you had another cultivation with it! How is that even possible?” Chu Yueli is awed by such a thing! 

Just by summoning this Dharma Body, she doubles her cultivation! 

That is simply groundbreaking!

“Fascinating, isn’t it? Now you know how the Prince was able to beat Emperor Profound while being in Spirit Profound.” Chu Yuechan smiled a bit. 

“Yes… I see…” The younger Chu looked very intrigued. She could barely contain her desire—she wanted this as well!

“Say… Yueli, do you want this as well?” The fairy asked her little sister.

“Of course! This is the most powerful art I have ever seen! Who wouldn’t want it?” She replied with barely contained emotions.

“But, you can’t just teach me, right? You would get into a problem if you do.” Chu Yueli swiftly lost whatever excitement she had.

“True. However, this is where my idea comes into play.” Chu Yuechan decided to reveal what she was thinking.

“You see. I've been with him for a while, and I've seen how many women want to get close to him, because of his status or power. It doesn’t matter; what matters is that they all want him.”

“Where are you going with this?” The younger sibling started to become nervous.

“My idea. I want you to join me, and naturally, you will get Dharma Body and the other secrets that would make you reach the next realm of power.” 

Chu Yueli’s eyes widened, and she looked at her sister with disbelief.

“With you around, I could feel more relieved; it would keep other vultures away.” The more powerful women surround him, the easier it is to keep weakling leeches away from him.

“S-Sister, are you gone crazy!? How can I do any of it!?” The fairy was baffled!

“Think about it. I will suggest it on my side as well.” Chu Yuechan smirked. She did notice that Cang Long was thinking about the idea of having sisters.

She saw him looking at her little sister. It’s a man's thing having sisters like that.

“Don’t speak such crazy things!”

“Relax. Don’t raise your voice.” The fairy motioned for her sister to relax. She is getting worked up.

“Then stop suggesting! I am not some sort… thing! It feels cheap to give myself like that! I spend my whole life cultivating and now…just like that to get more power.” 

Chu Yueli also had her pride as a cultivator and a woman.

“I am not telling you to give yourself. It’s a strategic move. You will be the link for Frozen Cloud to the Imperial Family. Long could help Frozen Cloud through you.” Chu Yuechan explained to her.

“...That’s…”

“Nobility has been doing this for many generations already, offering their daughters to the Emperor for benefits.”

“That’s exactly what I am saying!” The Younger Chu exclaimed.

Chu Yuechan sighed before shrugging. 

“Fine, since you insist, forget about it then.” The Fairy tried to help Frozen Cloud and herself with this move, but since it’s against their pride, they couldn't forget.

After such a conversation, the Fairy of Frozen Grass decided to leave. It was sounding quite weird to stay around.

While the sisters were conversing in his room, Cang Long was in deep meditation, his consciousness in his Mindscape. 

In the temple next to the mat where Dharma Body was cultivating, an item was slowly emerging. It was chains built from small formations. If one looked closer, one could notice how they were constructed from simple square formations.

This chain was a literal construct of formations.

Cang Long is making this to improve his Dharma Body and make it more versatile. He will use it to capture Profound Beasts for his army.

There are two Flood Dragons and a literal Fire Dragon in his Empire that could make a fantastic addition to his army.

While killing them is easy, capturing them is not so he is making means to do so.

Of course, since he was working on weaponry, why not improve the Dharma Armour and some weapons, like a spear, sword, and maybe an axe?

This is interesting because Dharma Body is the result of a Formation, so why not alter the formation before getting the result? That’s exactly what this is.

He could add ‘sword’ or chains before the manifestation, and bam, his Dharma Body would wield a literal weapon or chains.

After making changes and improving his absolute offence and defence, Cang Long went to the living room where he found his fairy reading.

She noticed him and stopped her activity.

“Do you want some tea?” The black haired beauty suggested.

“Sure.”

As he took his seat, she went to prepare some tea. Less than ten minutes later, the pair were drinking tea.

“I wanted to ask what you think about my sister.” The fairy asked all of a sudden.

“What do I think?”

“Indeed, I was wondering, you Imperials always have a harem, and one day you will cave in and accept another, in that case I would want someone who I know, and who is strong.” Chu Yuechan wasn’t hiding that she wants Cang Long to add her sister to his Harem.

“Hoh, someone is very blunt today.” He was a bit surprised to hear that!

“It’s because it is true. Just yesterday, ten sects brought their daughters as extras to the tournament to try to get your attention," The fairy nonchalantly explained, which was true.

“By adding my sister, you could tell everyone that you only care about the ones who have very high cultivation.”

“Hmm… you do have a fair point.” He agreed, but he won’t be chasing; if this works, it works. 

“But I am good as it is. If it works, it works. I won’t be going to your Frozen Cloud and asking for your sister.” He chuckled; it sounded weird.

“Not asking you to do that. It could just work out on its own.” 

Chu Yuechan smiled a bit. She had planted the idea in her sister’s mind; now it was only a matter of time.

“Devious, Yuechan. Never thought I would see a day where my Fairy schemes like Imperial.” Cang Long praised her.

“Your Royal Family schemes are starting to influence me.”

Sure enough, Chu Yuechan’s idea deeply influenced Chu Yueli. The benefits she could get would improve her cultivation considerably.

Just the Dharma Body would make her unbeatable in her realm, or even anyone in the Realm of  Throne would not beat her! It’s simply mind-boggling just thinking about it.

“Something on your mind, Yueli?” Palace Mistress sensed chaos in Chu Yueli’s profound energy.

“I understand that seeing Chu Yuechan like that would disturb you, but you should be happy that she is alive.” Gong Yuxian thought that Chu Yueli was like that because of how Chu Yuechan is behaving, but it was not the case.

“It’s not that, Mistress.” Fairy of Frozen Glass shook her head. “It’s what sister offered to me.”

“Offered to you? What did she offer?” The Palace Mistress asked.

“To join her, I could be the link between the Royals and Frozen Cloud. But that is impossible; our Code does not allow relationships between women and men," The fairy reasoned.

Gong Yuxian had a blank look for a second.

“You are not wrong, but there could be exceptions.” The Palace Mistress has been the leader for nearly a hundred years, so she knows how to bend rules to gain benefits.

“But…Mistress…” Chu Yueli fiddled for a second. The girl can’t believe Palace Mistress is considering something like this!

“I understand how you feel, Li’er. But you must realise Frozen Cloud’s position as well. Our Fairies suffer a lot from the art we cultivate; many don’t even make it to Sky Profound. 

It’s one of the reasons why we look for exceptionally talented people so that they can live longer. 

If you agree to such a deal, Blue Wind Profound Palace could help us with ice in our bodies.”

The Fairy for a second stopped and thought about it from the perspective of her Frozen Cloud, whether they get formations from him.

The better ones are not just a simple defence mechanism; they could fix one of the inherited issues.

As the pair were talking, the other three fairies would drop in to listen in. They were curious about this… grey area…

Turns out that rules can be bent when one is extremely strong…

‘If Master doesn’t want, we could try getting the Prince to help us.’

Some of the fairies are not reluctant at all. Prince is the ultimate version of the best male specimen available in Blue Wind, if not the whole Continent.
