ATG: Formation Master c34

Cang Long was amused as Feng Xue’er, after a few minutes, told the whole truth…

She doesn’t know her Royal Palace or her City, as her Royal Father kept her isolated the whole time.

The girl explained the circumstances to him.

At a young age, she was selected by the Remnant Phoenix Spirit to be her successor.

So she spent a lot of time with Phoenix Remnant, and then afterwards, the girl was in isolation until Cang Long attacked, and the Phoenix Ancestor took her out of her Valley.

Hearing that the Crown Prince decided that they should explore the place together, she nodded eagerly.

The next day, after spending the whole afternoon exploring, he asked her.

“Do you want to see something specific?” He asked her. The beautiful princess eagerly hugged his hand. It only took two days, but the princess got used to either hugging his hand or holding it.

“Umm…it may sound strange, but… I would like to see snow,” Feng Xue’er asked bashfully. She hoped that he didn’t see her strange.

“If this is what you want, there is a region of permanent ice and snow in Blue Wind. I will take you there," He promised her as his hand stroked her cheek.

The Phoenix Princess blushed at his actions, but she was able to push through that embarrassment before happily nodding.

After exploring the huge city, sampling some local cuisine, and seeing the sights, the pair returned to the Royal Palace.

The next day, Blue Wind Emperor arrived, and the Phoenix Royals went to greet him.

Feng Hengkong wasn’t the happiest about this, but Phoenix Ancestor and the previous Emperor were a bit different.

The pair waited for this to become an official treaty so that they could relax and allow the Phoenix Empire to begin recovering from devastating losses.

They also want their new grandson to begin spreading his methods to their empire—after all, he is their Crown Prince, too!

“Long’er, it’s good to see you, it has been a while.” Cang Wanhe walked to his son, patting his shoulders before looking at the Feng family delegation.

“It was.” Cang Long nodded. He wanted to return to his small house in the Profound Palace.

“Shall we?”

The Emperor walked over to the waiting royals.

“Blue Wind Emperor, good to see you. Shall we begin?” The previous Emperor greeted him, and Feng Zukui followed after his son.

Cang Wanhe was surprised; he didn’t expect to see the Monarchs of the Phoenix family. He thought that the Emperor was enough, but the Emperor’s elders were here!

“Yes, this one is surprised that Phoenix Grand Elders are here.” The Emperor commented on what he saw.

“Hahaha, your son quickly got us on his side.” Feng Zukui laughed, his amusement was making Feng Hengkong twitch nerviously, not every day parents so blatantly take the future in-laws' side like that!

“I see! He quickly collected a large group of followers.” Cang Wanhe was very pleased that Cang Long got the Monarchs of the Phoenix Empire on his side.

It solidifies his right towards the Phoenix Empire in this Personal Union.

It's not that anyone would question him since he is engaged to Feng Xue’er, the Future Sect Master of the Divine Phoenix Sect.

Not that anyone knows the details, no one knows that Feng Xue’er inherited the Remnant Phoenix Soul’s powers.

All people know is that the Princess has incredible potential and a connection to Phoenix Blood.

That’s about it.

“Hahaha, as expected of a grandson.”

The elders and the Emperor began to laugh. Cang Long didn’t expect they would bond over him…

After arriving at the main Palace, the elders began to negotiate the details.

What Cang Long conquered will be kept under the Blue Wind Domain, while the Phoenix Empire will be able to buy the minerals at a lower price.

Other details, like borders, capitals and other stuff were negotiated in this Empire.

Feng Hengkong did not give an inch in pretty much any of these deals, so he was quickly sidelined as he started to cause embarrassment.

In the end, the deal was decent to both sides, as it was a personal union, and there would be only one Empire in the future.

However, Cang Long can’t decide on the name for this Empire; neither Cang Wanhe nor the Phoenix Elders put a name forward.

‘Maybe a name when I rule the whole continent?’ The Crown Prince pondered as he was thinking about what to do next.

Now that the war was over, he needed to prepare for the next step.

He still has untapped resources in the form of God Remnant Souls.

“Hn.” Feng Xue’er cuddled into Cang Long’s chest. The girl behaved like a cute little animal.

“Bored?”

“Never! Xue’er is happy to be with her darling.” The Phoenix Princess replied.

“Hah. Someone picked a new word. Did you learn that from my Chu sisters?” The Formation Prince joked, as he was the first one to use that word. Then, after a while, they replied with the same word.

Now, however, they are nowhere to be seen. The pair is cultivating now that they have free time.

“Maybe? It’s a good word.” The Princess said sagely.

“Good, I suppose we should leave for Blue Wind Empire. I have things to do.” He changed the theme, making her perk up.

“C-Can I see snow?”

“Of course, my Xue’er, I have things to do there as well.” He smiled as he stroked her smooth black hair.

“Un! Then we can go!”

~~~
The pair soon left the Divine Phoenix Capital. It was a short trip to Solid Earth Capital, where Cang Long’s troops were staying. Afterwards, it was a several-week-long trip back to Thunderfire Fortress.
The victory parade and celebration have been ordered to happen several weeks later as there are a bunch of things to organise until then.
Logistics, food and other stuff. Now that the Empire is three times bigger, they need to smooth out the administration before any sort of celebration can happen.
Hell, immigration exploded as many people now want to live in Blue Wind Capital because of Cang Long and his ‘mythical’ status. The Conqueror who has beaten odds ten times his army size! From real facts to made-up ones.
All that led to his city rapidly growing, new neighbourhoods have been ordered to be constructed.
Not just houses for people to live in, but actual Sects are moving in, as the Sect Master predicted that the city would only continue to grow as time goes on.
As people are getting busier, Cang Long took his new Fiancée to the place she has wanted to visit for weeks now.
A dragon's roar spread through the always serene Extreme North of Blue Wind.
The fairies who were cultivating in tranquillity were interrupted by a dragon.
They went to see what it was. It was an armoured Fire Dragon.
“Is that…”
“His Highness, quickly tell the girls to line up.” The Palace Mistress swiftly ordered Jun Lianqie, who nodded and dashed away. In the meantime, the Palace Mistress went to the gate of the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace, where the dragon landed.
The Palace Mistress, who was in the late Middle Stages of Emperor Profound, could only shiver from fear when the dragon’s yellow eyes looked at her.
The Beast’s raw energy was oppressive, not to mention its size. She heard stories from the frontlines about how this thing could use Profound Arts.
Even in her remote Extreme North territory, the word travels about the conflicts in the Empire’s West.
“Your Highness, we were not expecting you to visit so soon after you just won the war.” Gong Yuxian was very happy to see him, but she was not ready for guests.
“I do apologise, but my Phoenix Princess wanted to see snow.” Cang Long floated down with a girl in his hands.
The Palace Mistress noticed a girl dressed in a red fur coat. She was extremely delicate, but Gong Yuxian saw through that cute exterior and could sense raw pressure from her. This girl’s cultivation was insanely high!
“I see, it’s an honour to meet the Crown Princess of the Divine Phoenix Empire.” Gong Yuxian immediately knew who it was. This was the famous Princess Snow, the fabled Princess who only appeared in public once.
She never imagined that Feng Xue’er was a Tyrant Profound at such a tender age.
“Please, no need for such formalities, after all, Xue’er is the one who imposed herself.” The Princess slightly bowed to the Palace Mistress, making the Fairy uncomfortable. She never imagined that this girl would be that kind. It’s a bit hard to keep a stern face around her.
“It’s no problem, Princess, please come in.”
The pair began to follow the Palace Mistress while Cang Long’s Dragon flew away and disappeared into blue clouds.
As they entered the Palace Grounds, the girl gawked at the ice and snow buildings. Everywhere she looked, it was full of ice and snow! It was crazy for her to see such a thing!
This place was like a fantasy land to the sheltered girl.
Before long, they were greeted by a line of girls. Feng Xue’er looked at them with a bit of awe.
She had already seen several hundred of them in the army, but this was different. She finally saw these girls in their homes, like true fairies of ice and snow.
“My Prince and Princess, welcome to Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace. We waited for your arrival for a while.” The Palace Mistress said from the side. She dearly hoped that he would help them with formations as the ranking tournament was only a year and a half away.
Feng Xue’er gazed at the fairies with fascination. The same could be said about the fairies. The girls wanted to meet the mysterious and extremely talented Prince who helped them with their Frozen Cloud arts.
His help has fundamentally changed them; the girls who were fated to live short lives now can enjoy full lives without any shortcomings.
With a single change, their Frozen Cloud can finally grow in size and become a true power in the Continent.
Well, they already are, thanks to Cang Long and the deal they had.
Regardless, as the Princess walked over to the fairies, one fairy gazed at Formation Prince with a borderline heated look.
This was Xia Qingyue, Chu Yueli’s disciple.
Ever since she met him, the girl couldn’t forget him. Not because he was handsome or because of the power he wielded; while those helped, they did not get to her.
It was his flat ‘No’. All her life, she had always got what she wanted. Her talent is one of a kind, so her father would get anything she wanted. The same goes for her Master, who agreed to her unreasonable request to marry a cripple.
But it was Cang Long who said no, and told her to follow the rules of her Palace.
Ever since then…
She can’t stop thinking about him! The fairy wanted to meet him again so that she could show him that she did what he told her.
But weeks and months after that meeting, her perception changed. Now, she wants to get closer and wants his help in her quest to find her mother.
However… what could she offer? As a simple mortal merchant’s daughter, she had no resources or influence to offer.
Yet, she is not planning to simply give up, especially when she has such an opportunity.
Here he was in her Frozen Cloud, her Master or her sister nowhere to be seen, only this Princess who is fascinated with snow.
Very good conditions for her to make her move.
Cang Long could feel this heated gaze. He was able to find where it came from; to his surprise, it was Xia Qingyue.
He was surprised. Wasn’t she supposed to be in her hometown? Who brought her here? And did she marry that guy?
Now that he has thought about it, how is Yun Che doing? Honestly, he never bothered with the canon of the story. He was a Prince, a Crown Prince, and he could do as he pleased.
Though one thing was for sure, he had never seen a girl look at him like that.
It was… amusing and refreshing. He thought only guys could look at girls like that, not the other way around.
Well, learning new things is refreshing.
