Collar d6 & the CollarV universe
Added 2025-02-07 18:30:19 +0000 UTCI'm currently working on some stuff that I plan to have up Sun/Mon-ish that continues the Collar d6 (the tabletop game one) storyline, and I'm considering taking the CollarV universe (where Michelle has purple hair and Trina is a gyaru gal) and having it be one of the games they play. One in which they're all vampires, succubi and other assorted urban fantasy cliches.
I floated the idea on my bluesky earlier today and wanted to see what y'all would think of that idea? I genuinely like the idea of Collar d6 being the common factor that connects all the various stories I've done and the prospect of being able to place these characters in a variety of settings and scenarios is extra appealing to me because I could always be trying new things. What do y'all think?
I've also decided to post a few old strips here from the various CollarV strips so y'all know what universe I'm talking about.

And having some of the events in CollarV be set in a game campaign which Michelle's been running for her group would also potentially explain just WHY Katrina (or whoever's been playing as them) had the reaction which they had given to Maaya's announcement of having Lora move in with her (given it wasn't officially explained), which was shown all the way back in CollarV #4 (https://www.patreon.com/posts/collarv-4-64055091 ) ; if Laura's character in this setting is a totally normal person; or appears to be at least, since we don't know all of the details for what her character and backstory are, along with those of the other potential players? At least, it might be a very good in-character reaction for Katrina to have, since this does seem like one of those questions pretty much anyone would have; upon learning that one of their close friends was after making such a big life decision; without even telling them any major details about ahead of time. Still, I'm getting very curious to see how things will play out going forwards in the next couple of pages of D6 (before they end up swapping over to the Kinky World of Darkness setting from a more classic fantasy one), given that Laura's current character is at a major disadvantage right now; all due to having lost her main combat weapon in an earlier fight and being surrounded by some foes she has no idea about how to fight against, while a strange and powerful cleric is right in front of her!
