2025-08-16 06:25:10 +0000 UTCLOL welcome back! we were like damn we haven't had any comments on these eps but we hope your vacation was great. And yea the end of this season was A LOT I think we reacted off pure instinct so certain stuff we needed longer to sit with and process (aka how we feel about Matts whole story line, how we feel about Stiles Dad being mad at him etc) but yea you pretty much hit the nail on the head when it comes to Scott and his holier than thou antics. It just doesn't make sense even from season 1 he seems allergic to using his powers to save Stiles (and others) and prefers to submit to his opps its so weird That doesn't make you "good" it makes you nonconfrentational at best, a coward at worst. But ijs. LOL. Also keep watching you'll see we are FASTLY learning to LOVELOVELOVE Dereks entire arc and we also hate how he was talked down to this ep. Also, hopefully there's no more reliving trauma bc thats just so sad but we did notice this show will do one act that has MULTIPLE Layers if you're watching the show closely enough (we discuss this very briefly in the Q&A). you've been ok on spoilers for the most part, I think we also discuss that in the Q&A as well lol. Thanks for commenting!

2025-06-17 03:27:56 +0000 UTCAs much fun as I've had away irl, I missed y'all's channel and am really excited to catch up!! So. Yeah. There was a LOT going on in that scene with Chris and his guys vs. Derek and Boyd, and it was mixed in with the club scenes, so it makes sense the wolfbanes bullet slipped under the radar. It was mentioned in one line and then not referenced again so if you didn't catch that line it's like.. okay?? So it was a regular bullet?? But no, we couldn't be so lucky. The thing about trust between Stiles and his dad is that it wasn't just one single instance that caused the Sheriff to stop trusting Stiles. It wasn't just that he stole the van or just that he got a restraining order put against him (though those were definitely the final straws). Stiles has been lying to his dad for two seasons now and the Sheriff isn't an idiot. He knows that Stiles is lying, he just doesn't know why or what about. So from his perspective he's got a 16 year old kid that's suddenly hiding everything from him, who keeps ending up at crime scenes, who now also stole a van, ended up with a restraining order for kidnapping, and got him fired. With all of that it makes sense that the Sheriff doesn't trust Stiles anymore. Trusting Scott, however, is still a stupid move. Like yeah it worked out this time because it got them what they needed, but Scott is an idiot. The Sheriff doesn't know that though (or he does, but he doesn't know the extent of stupid Scott possesses) because to him Scott is just Scott. He hasn't lied, he hasn't done anything suspicious really, and Stiles is the mischief maker so clearly he's dragging Scott down with him. (we all know that's bullshit, but the Sheriff has not been clued in sadly) Deaton pisses me off. He keeps making digs at Derek and at Derek as an alpha and offering not much of anything that's actually helpful. He may have helped the Hale family back in the day but I call bullshit on him promising Derek's mom that he'd take care of Derek. Or if he did promise it he did not keep it, because Derek hasn't been taken care of by a single person since Laura died. He lost basically his whole family at 16, he was never meant to be an alpha, he is flying blind and doing his best and some actual help would maybe... idk.. help?? Instead of insulting him like everyone else does?? Derek didn't have time to learn or to grow into his alpha-ness before all this shit happened. Of course he's not gonna do great when he doesn't know what he's doing. All he has is what he grew up around and was let in on and what he saw of Laura. And then of course Peter. That's giving a kid an adult job and telling him to figure it out based on movies he watched. (sorry, i'm a Derek Hale stan & protector first and a person second lol) The only thing anyone could possibly say in Allison's defense here is that she doesn't know that her mother was trying to kill Scott. She doesn't know that Derek was protecting Scott. She thinks, and was told in the letter* I'm sure, that Derek attacked and killed for no reason. And while Allison isn't a complete idiot, she does have the moral backbone of a chocolate eclair (*the letter which y'all were right about, Gerard totally wrote that. if her mother did write her one he replaced it. but tbh i'm not sure she would've wrote one?? based on some things she said before her death it didn't sound like Allison was going to get an explanation beyond whatever the public knew and what her dad told her) Ayye you remembered the pain triggers healing thing!! Yes, that's exactly what Derek was trying to do there. It's like when he broke Erica's arm to trigger the healing so her seizures would stop again. "If Stiles had been a werewolf this shit would not have been going down like this" Oh 10000%. Stiles, while funny, is a more morally grey character. Scott fancies himself a morally good person. He's Good. He'd never hurt anyone unless he had to and he certainly wouldn't kill anyone!!1 Gasp!! As if!! Scott really views the world in black and white and it's part of what makes him boring. He really could've prevented a lot of this stuff if he'd just knocked Matt out and taken the gun. Like yeah they'd still have the Kanima to deal with but they could lock Matt up in the mean time so he can't hurt anyone. At the very LEAST that should've been considered. Scott's whole deal is he wants to save as many people as possible. But in doing so, look at how many people at that station died. And how many died before because he was opposed to even the THOUGHT of killing Jackson. Matt's drowning trauma is incredibly valid, and horrific, and as someone who has nearly drowned a handful of times in life I feel for him, but that doesn't make murder okay. I mean.. Mr. Lahey I can excuse tbh, he was a horrible person and what he did to Matt and Isaac both is evil, but the rest were just stupid teenagers. Stupid drunk teenagers. He can hate them, he can think about whatever payback he'd like to give, but actual murder?? He's doing far too much. It's very believable that Scott would just leave Derek behind imo, he does love to hate Derek, but this time it was actually Derek's choice. When Scott showed up he hesitated and Derek told Scott to take Stiles and go. He had to tell him twice actually. Derek just wanted Scott to protect Stiles and for once Scott listened to him (i can't lie though, i wouldn't have been too surprised if Scott had left Stiles just to show that he didn't have to listen to Derek) (stiles needs a new bestie) EVERYBODY BETRAYS DEREK. LITERALLY EVERYONE SO FAR. Except Stiles, you are correct <3 IT MAKES ME SO FUCKING MAD. But also so fucking sad. He deserves so much better. You're the first reaction channel I've seen, literally ever, catch on to how this show kills people (or torments them further) in ways that they've already been traumatized. It's really a theme for them and I hate it. But like look at y'all go!! Hell yeah!!! Hopefully I haven't spoiled anything for y'all, I do look over my comments before sending them to try and catch anything but I talk a lot so who knows if I get it all lol
