To give scott and allison little leeway (im not the biggest fan of them) but they are just teenagers after all compared to derek. So they make dumb hasty decisions and they are scared (we can call it out) but they are still teenagers at the end of the day. Not excusing everything they have done but Scott is trying this season to be the better version and Allison is as well. They have never been my favs but i try to turn a little blind eye on the little annoying things they do since i feel like the writing is not all there for their characters do a lot of flip flopping like Allisons character arc in s1 and 2. Same with Scott sometimes the writing just doesn’t do enough explaining.

2025-07-09 21:06:53 +0000 UTCThey couldn't get rid of Scott and Allison unfortunately, because they're the "main couple", with Scott being the "main character" (eye-fucking-roll) and they had no reason to get rid of them because neither Tyler Posey or Crystal Reed had other acting jobs come up that would've gotten in the way. Meanwhile Gage Golightly and Colton Haynes were offered other jobs and had other stuff going on. The Teen Wolf universe is apparently supposed to not have homophobia but I call bullshit just based on some of the writing. Like yeah they gave us the Jungle scene with Stiles and Scott but it ended in temporary paralyzing (no deaths though, I'm pretty sure) and now there's an innocent lesbian gone?? And the continued refusal to confirm the absolutely real bi-ness of Stiles?? Sounds homophobic to me Scott standing there in the woods with Derek and Isaac and saying "this is our fault" about Boyd and Cora running around supposedly killing people pissed me all the way off. Because no - y'all didn't do that. ALLISON did that. She broke the mountain ash barrier after Derek told her not to and then held y'all up with her bullshit instead of letting them go after Boyd and Cora (granted it would've taken Derek some time still, he had to handle Erica and we didn't see much of anything there but I just know that was so hard for him. the fact that he took care of her and then jumped right into catching the rogue werewolves?? alpha my goddamn alpha) Chris and his "your world decimated my family" bullshit. Like I am kinda sorry he lost his family (not that he lost such awful people, but they were still his family and that would hurt for most people and I can sympathize with that like.. 1%. 2% maybe on a good day for him) But it was NOT the werewolves fault that his family is dead. THEY stepped into the werewolves world of their own free will because they hated them THAT much. That's entirely on the Arlingtons. Every werewolf has just wanted to exist, like anyone else does, and the whole Arlington family line for several hundred years just couldn't deal with people who were different. Him trying to put that blame on Scott and Derek is insane. (also: kinda bothered he called it "your world" to Scott. the supernatural world isn't Scott's world. Scott is just a kid who was bitten in the last three years. Derek is the born wolf. it's way more his world than anyone's. but i digress. for now lol) Peter WAS right about Scott living in a world of black & white while Derek and Peter live in shades of gray - they understand that everything has nuance and there is no strictly Good or Bad for everything (for some things?? yes. like hunters.) Stiles is another character that lives in shades of gray.. and Isaac. Scott's really the only one with a limited view of the world and an unrealistic moral compass. However, while Peter and Derek both live in shades of gray, Peter's world leans more towards the darker shades. He's definitely not as good or moral of a person as Derek (as is made very clear in this episode with his comment about the homeless. that's not something Derek would even think to say) "Does that mean something? - Scott. BITCH EVERYTHING ALWAYS MEANS SOMETHING IN THIS PLACE. WHY ARE YOU ASKING Stiles being smart as hell, having ADHD, and loving research means he does have a lot of knowledge about a lot of topics. Every team has to have at least one. I get why Melissa had to show one of the pack members the evidence, she may not know too much about the supernatural but she knows when something looks fucking weird, but I feel like she could have - after showing Stiles the injuries on the boy - just said "and the girl over there has the same injuries". She didn't really need to show him (although with the way Stiles is, i feel like he would've asked to see anyway. he prefers to have all the information. so maybe there was no way around him finding out like that) Allison is.. decent. When she's being helpful, not all over Scott, not trying to kill wolves, and not running her mouth lmao I appreciate the moment of her helping Isaac with getting Boyd and Cora into the school but that's it. Scott maybe could've gone into the boiler room and helped Derek, but then they would've had the vault issue all over again. The door had to remain locked to make sure Boyd and Cora couldn't get out. So once Derek was in somebody had to make sure the door locked. So just this once Scott kind of gets a pass. It is.. interesting, however, that this is one of the rare times he follows Derek's orders. Derek basically told him to stay where it was safe and let Derek risk his life and Scott, after barely trying to talk Derek out of it, did what Derek asked. Now that could've been because he knew there was no time to waste, with that teacher in there unprotected, but in the vault episode when Derek insisted there was no time to come up with a better plan Scott kept trying to stop him because it was too dangerous or whatever. So... hm. The math isn't really mathing. Ending this with: I fucking hate the teacher. Idk what it is but she gets on my nerves and I wish she'd stay far away from Derek lol
