My thoughts exactly! Especially the wobble will stress the material over time, causing micro fractures. The fuss? It's just because we can. As a SpaceX fan you can enjoy ground breaking things (reused fairings) that are to be obsolete soon... :D

Hey Rob! Thank you for the feedback! I changed the lighting on purpose but am not completely satisfied either. I want to have it so that I pop out a bit more in front of a darker (space) background. Working on it... as always. :D

Thank you, Sammy! :) The hammer was still laying around from work I did on the new set... :D Yeah, yesterday was one of the busiest days yet. Finishing an Episode and getting the live stream done was crazy but so worth it! What a launch! :)

It was a strange morning, getting up in the middle of the night to catch the WAI live stream of the SpaceX Starlink launch and then heading off bed without watching the WAI Monday episode that was released prior to the live stream. Got to watch the episode on my commute to work when I was wide awake, the updates on the infrastructure works and Starship going on in Boca Chica are very well outlined in this and every other preceding episode. Thanks for the shut out for all your WAI Aussie friends! Looking forward to Thursday’s WAI 50th milestone episode. 🍾 But what’s with the hammer? What about it? Thanks Felix, You Rock! 🚀👩🏻‍🚀🛸👽👾🛰

I was looking for the video that shows reentrance of a fairing, to see how much plasma was streaming around it and for how long. You see the wobbling of the whole structure - must be a lot of stress for the material, too. So my guess is, they will reuse the first fairings for a 2nd time and improve from there on... but, I wonder why all this fuss abouut the fairings. If Starships is finished as fast as they say, there isn't that much money to save (?). Maybe they sell the technology to Boing, because they will get their contracts anyway, even if they are obsolete^^
