A bit of a stare is to be expected when I crawl through doorways these days. Initial shock aside, I’ve got a sense that the city is slowly getting used to me, at least at my current size. I was talking to Gracelyn the other day and she brought up that if I ever needed double-doors to get into her shop, she would push for a remodel.

Daisy also mused that the owner of her café doesn’t mind a few of the dents I’ve put into the aluminum drop-ceiling, and that a second story loft addition to his downtown café would be good for the long-term. Both of these suggestions are endearing, but silly.

I met the new hire that Daisy is working with. My little sister has been working ‘Caffeinated Paradise’ for two years and six months, long enough to be able to train the newbies though obviously with the caveat that she is now an nine foot tall amazon and some of her co-workers are almost half her height. It’s certainly an impressive number, and Hayley is also in the nine foot club these days.

As for me, I’m always happy to buy a sip of coffee and walk Daisy home. Mom said she’s making pasta tonight, wouldn’t want to miss that for the world. But I should give you all the numbers you crave, right? It was a typical month, or …maybe it was a slow month. I still don’t have enough data to estimate if I had a freak early summer of growth or if I’ve started growing at a faster rate. Could be that I just take in so many calories… Or there’s just more hormones moving around in me…

But I grew four-fifths of an inch. It’s almost hard to get such a precise measurement, Beatrice is certainly an expert these days at getting a level marking. I’m sad to say the scales I rigged together have now gone over their weight limits, which means between last month and this one I gained at least 50 pounds to weigh now more than 3200 pounds. Each scale can only go up to 800, and then there’s the weight of the chair, but I’ve got a plan for how I’ll get you all weight measurements again sometime soon. Until then, cya!
