Request a color~
Added 2021-03-10 10:38:01 +0000 UTCNot so long ago I bought a new tablet and I do need to get some practice with it. Get used to the new pen and work surface before I'll be able to continue the few old projects I salvaged from my old desktop.
So I want you guys to request some of my older ink works for some rather simple, flat color practice. Can be one of your all-time-favorites of mine or a piece that you think would benefit most from colors.
But I do have to add a small exception here, since this is a getting-used-to practice, I'll have to turn down images that are too complex (multi-panel, multi-character) otherwise I'll burn out before accomplishing anything. So images with 1-2 characters with a simple background would be the ideal in this case.
If I get a steady rythm going and add tablet art into my weekly routine, then I hope that by 2022, I'll be posting mostly flat color pieces instead of running on ink only.

It is a good picture, but the problem is with the lighting, as it is a night-time scene. By that I mean it has defined light sources in the background, the lamp and the moon. It's a setup for a colored lighting type of scenery for full color, which I might do sometime in the future.

But the third and later ones are all good. Going to start with the "Hello sir" piece most likely, eventhough it's older, I do like how it's setup to have a cold-grey background and Geno being the focus of attention and only source of warm colors. Certainly builds an extra meaning to the scene~

2021-03-11 09:09:41 +0000 UTCFirst one's a good option, the second one is good also, but here I think I'll try to make this one traditional. It's been a while since I picked up my crayons too. The third one, I'm not sure about and it's not the complexity that's making me unsure. It's rather the implication of it being a night-time scene and that would make it dark and bathed in tones of blue, might do it as an attempt to simulate a night-time enviroment in flat color though once I get deeper into it.
