A year in art~

In the past, I never really looked into it, but in 2023 I've kept track of how much art progress I've made each week. Of course as life goes, some weeks were super dry, but then there were also times when I did more then 3 pieces. Anyways, here's the numbers:

SKETCH - 55
INK - 51
DIGITAL (both color and GS)  - 26

So while ink and sketch are fine enought to fill up the 52 weeks of the year in terms of post. My Achilles heel always was digital work. Maybe in 2024 I'll have the gut to produce at least 40< colored and gs pieces~

I bully because love hurts, and you know i wuv you lots. Also i thought sketching is just setting the laylines, and inking is when you actually start really setting down the details

Nopast of course has to dish out the damage, knowing full well that most of the coloring works I did this year were flat, y u bully?~ Coloring flat is not really that timetaking, mostly because I usually do have an idea for a color palette when I concept the picture in the first place. Nowadays sketching is the worst, mostly because of the improvements I'm practicing makes me autisticly precise when it comes to detail and anathomy, so I get ANGY when something "just doesn't click" in the expression or the pose.

To be fair, coloring is what's going to take up a good bit of time compared to inking, especially if it's not just flat coloring~

Nopast

guts and determination to bring the prawns.
