Hitting 10k & New Project Announcement

Hey guys, a lot has happened the past weeks and I've been a bit busy working on stuff 😍

First I wanted to gush over the big milestone - hitting 10k on twitter!!! I seriously can't put to words how much it means to me... It's so freaking awesome and I'm so grateful!!! 😱💖💕 And... I wanted to do something very special for the occasion and... For a long time I was contemplating what to be The Special Thing.

*Clears throat* I felt crazy inspired to tackle an idea I've had for months... Now that I have a bit more experience and a much clearer artistic vision.... I wrote an entire script that covers 16 pages for a more niche kind of doujin that focuses once again on Nikaido and Kaiman. Yes, it will be spicy hot. I consider it to be a sequel to what I'm creating right now 😳👉👈AND THERE'S MORE... I'm ITCHING to give away what this is about... But I think showing you would be better than trying to explain... I bet you guys don't expect it. The setting is something I love dearly... I'll leave you guessing for awhile 😜 sorry I'm such a tease... BUT HERE'S A TINY HINT:

The entire subject is too perfect for a particular traditional medium and techniques... And it got me feeling extremely nostalgic to dig up my materials. It's been 6 years since I've touched them so I had no idea wtf to expect but, by some miracle, all of my stuff are still liquid and good 🥺💖 So... I gathered my papers, my plank to tape 'em on... my ink jar, masking fluid, cleaned up my favorite ink pen tip, my calligraphy brush and the other favorites, and pulled out my box of professional Russian watercolors (that I spent my 3 month worth of scholarship on, back in 2009 👀 THEY'RE OLD) and I found a little something extra I had laying around - aquapasto. I have everything in order to create this expressive doujin and I'm freaking excited about it. 💖💕

I know what you guys are thinking... "ARKUNY YOU ARE BURIED IN PROJECTS, CRAZY WOMAN" 😳 DAIJOUBU! Next month we've got Tetsujo and Nikaido lined up 💖 so besides the Moments in Monochrome pages, I'll dedicate my time sketching all the new 16 pages so that when INKTOBER rolls around, I'll devote myself to a true inking experience.

In October is my 1 year drawing Dorohedoro celebration too... So I want that month to be loaded with Dorohedoro awesomeness 💖 and I'm more than excited to share all of that with you... 😊 I'll also redraw my very first Dorohedoro fan art from 2020 which will be the main reward, so please look forward to all that!
