2025-06-06 09:16:10 +0000 UTCIf it helps for understanding Tachikawa's explanation of Viper. The majority of people who use Viper use preset patterns for quick use. Pattern A shoots forward, spreads out (to dodge a shield), then converges to hit the target. Pattern B shoots forward, then disperses to hit a wider range of targets. These are just common examples of what people typically use. What Nasu does is set custom flight paths for her bullets on the fly. It's also worth noting that Viper doesn't let you control the bullets midflight, the patterns are set before being fired. Any seeming counter response to your defensive maneuvers are due to the user's foresight of your actions.
