I think the squad not in the anime is my favorite squad lol, their members seem so fun. Also I feel like kinda like in 3-gatsu no lion, there's a color palette swap version (or maybe digivolved version) of a certain character we already know in there, i'm really looking forward to what he and the fun shield friend can do

I'm re-subtitling World Trigger (S2/S3) to properly translate the actual audio of the anime, since the official subs are often shortened/abridged. Here's some episodes, and if you feel like it, it'd be helpful to hear if you think it's okay to watch over the official subs. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Qg_I8530ROGPvis-Sj_tqoCQhPzkEFcw

2025-06-26 23:35:09 +0000 UTCWhen the points were shown for each character's introduction, Kage had over 4k AND a 10k point penalty. Points are harder to get the more you have since you need to fight tougher and tougher opponents, so he might've had minimum 11k when he did get demoted. Many of the new agents shown only had around 8k. Kage is a beast.

2025-06-26 21:36:12 +0000 UTCSome background info on Azuma. His former A rank team consisted of Ninomiya, Miwa, and Kako. Each member later moved on to become captain of their own squads, who then became A-rank on their own. Azuma formed a new squad who then later also moved on to become their own A rank squad too (one that hasn't been introduced in the anime yet). This is the third Azuma squad in the making. Azuma is a teacher, he mentors and teaches the members of his squad to think both strategically and tactically in order to give them the skills to make it to A rank. It's subtle, but you can notice how he doesn't necessarily take command like other captains. He asks questions and probes his students in an effort to let them think for themselves without giving them the answer. All in all, Azuma wasn't demoted, he's just training up promising rookies to guide them to A-rank.
