Heya, I've gone and done something useless that no one asked for: integrated this Patreon with THP's Discord.
In case you've been living under a rock, Discord is what the cool kids these days use to talk to one another instead of Ham radio, IRC or other sensible and time-tested (and non-corporate) methods. I'm there and so is a sizeable portion of the community, talking about things, not updating nor reading. But, more seriously, it's a good way to talk to your peers and message me or whatever else.
Patreon allows for automatic role assignments if you connect your discord account with it. See here how to do that. I've added a patron-only channel where you may bask in your superiority vis-a-vis the chattering classes. I have no idea what I plan to do with the space but it might be a handy place for me to get instant feedback on some beta stuff I'll be trialing in the future.
It should just work but if it doesn't, let me know! I may be brain damaged and, consequently, have messed up the integration process.

So I think it's set up properly. Some people who already had their accounts linked up were added automatically. Another who connected it afterwards wasn't given the role. The FAQ says it is usually instant but may take a few hours.
