Upon looking their eyes set on fire as no mortal could truly look at a god as powerful as Zues without βseeing too muchβ. The Mom looked at the evangelist and her eyes were set ablaze causing tremendous pain. Thatβs why she tore her horns down closing her eyes. So a mythological reference here. Itβs as if a pike, the exact size of your eye made of metal, but heated to the Fahrenheit of the sun was logged into their eyes. Also, why the girl who uses electricity said you canβt look at the sun directly or youβll burn your eyes. I really love mythology so I thought this was a cool reference. I am not a manga reader even though I do know spoilers from videos popping up on my phoneβ¦ I believe this shows that the evangelist is almost at the power if not as powerful as a god.
